Salt Papi has already beaten a handful of other influencers/club-level boxers along with multiple regional-level MMA fighters in boxing matches. I don't know what Tony's looking like these days, but last time we saw him he looked like he was physically & mentally spiraling with each subsequent performance inside the cage. Maybe the time off plus his ability to focus entirely on boxing (which he started to do even toward the end of his UFC career) will allow him to look a tad better... but I'm not exactly holding my breath. Papi is nothing special, but I'm not convinced you have to be a particularly special boxer to beat this version of Tony.

I'll be completely honest, I don't think any version of Tony would've worked in the boxing ring even at a very low level, none of his strengths would ever translate to boxing besides maybe his volume, but that's offset by how hittable he is

Salt papi has bad defense when he gases out. He becomes easy to hit. The issue is that Tony is easy to hit from the bell and Salt can throw a little bit.

Some clarifications. I believe Salt Papi is NOT Salt Bae. I've seen Salt Bae before and never saw or heard of Papi, but Bae doesn't look like that picture. If they are the same person, that guy has changed majorly.
