He's a weirdo, probably missing some screws. But he's fucking exciting. Everytime he fight, there's blood, there's crazy scrambles, out of nowhere sub attempts and vicious elbows, and I'm all for it.
 
Tony is Mexican? But his last name is Ferguson? Well shit... if he’s Mexican I love him now.
 
The man can obviously fight. But, as a person that isn't a fan of Tony. I think he's overrated. He talks a certain kind of shit. And acts a certain kind of way. Where he appeals to a great number around here.

Too many bad decisions by him. And way too many excuses from his fan base.

What I mean to say is. If the fucking man cuts weight for no reason. Within 3 weeks of the most important fight of his life. Don't tell me he's COOL, GANGSTA, or start making threads about how Tony is a certain kind of guy.

Refuse a IT fight against a FW. But then accept one against a more dangerous LW? Who is in this guy's ear? Does he even have a credible manager?

Because I think he's not professional in the way he approaches certain things. And he does not have the mind it takes to be a world champion. There are entertaining fighters. Then there are champion level fighters. And there are GOAT level fighters.

Tony is entertaining.
 
Because He Writes Like This On His Twitter With The First Letter Of The Word Always In Caps.

Like him because of his fights but wouldn't consider myself a fan.

Arguably the most dominate/exciting TUF run (4-0 in the house with all 4 fights being highlight reel knockouts). Enters UFC and has 15 of his 16 fights being in contention for either performance of the night or fight of the night

We literally watch sports for entertainment and Tony is the embodiment of entertainment

4-0 on TUF with all of his fights being highlight reel finshes. Then has 16 UFC fights with literally 15 of those being in contention for FOTN or POTN

It's almost unreal the level of entertainment Tony possess. We may never see someone like this ever again
 
Tony is an idiot, if a sane person ever met him and didn’t follow mma they would most likely never wanna see him again.

But as a fighter he’s super entertaining and as a fight fan you love watching his fights.
 
He's loved because he's an animal that loves to fight and he has an extremely unorthodox and entertaining style. The fact there's zero filter on what comes out of his mouth is an added bonus.

Not to mention his training quirks, music taste, break dancing, "McNuggets", irrationally telling journalist's 'fuck you', jumping out of moving cars, actually being a really surprisingly good coach, never not made Weight, standing D'arce chokes, carries a baseball at all times, wing chun, indoor sunglasses, able to piss Khabib off like no one else, Zombie chin, on and on and on.. El Cucuy is a beautiful mess, and he creates art with the damage and pain he brings.

In Mexico, it is very common to dislike pochos (people of Mexican heritage that live in other countries) especially the ones that aren't fluent in Spanish.

He's awesome, and I'm white. For the record, I'll root for scrappers of any color or ethnicity.
 
All the reasons mentioned above. Plus have you SEEN how much he gives you in the octagon, he's literally burned the emotions out of the flesh for your viewing pleasure.

What he was going through with his family back then, coming back to the Pettis fight IIRC ? Man, was emotional at the end. This is guy is real.
 
I’m a huge Tony fan, that guy goes out there to fight and finish. Sounds cliche but that’s the truth, a lot of fighters/promoters say this but it’s real with that man.

He’s also legit crazy/weird/cringe it comes off very strange but atleast genuine

I like him cuz he fights like a wild man. I happen to be Hispanic but reality is most latinos wont back a latino fighter if he dont speak spanish.
 
All of his fights have spectacular finishes. The Gaejhe one is my favorite. Haha
 
His child is Jesus reincarnated as Tony told us, so I want to be on the right side....so yes, I like Toney.
