there is no reason to strip mcgregor (yet) and make ferguson the real champ...
mcgregor deserves to get stripped for sure and he should fight ferguson but...

ferguson can just pull out against khabib and he is the champ by defeating a rank 7 fighter kevin lee. that also doesnt make sense.

but when the rank 1 and rank 2 guy are finally fighting for the belt, that makes sense for sure.

so it is better for the ufc to say "yes we will strip mcgregor but finnish your business in the cage first, dont pull out and finnish the fight so u can get the belt in that way". it is the safest way to get both guys finally in the cage.

to many risks when the ufc doesnt do this in that way.

He beat RDA and Barboza as well who were higher ranked than Lee.

I disagree.

I think Conor should be stripped for refusing to fight the interim champ, which is Tony.

It's blatantly obvious that him and the ufc want him to fight Khabib next and are trying to align the stars in order to make it happen. I think Khabib is a much easier style matchup for Conor and Conor keeps his distance and strikes him up the entire fight. I'm not so sure that would work as well against someone who moves as well as Tony.

I don't believe the winner of this fight will be the undisputed champion, I think it's for the interim belt.

A win over kevin lee after Khabib pulled out last time may not be the most deserving way to win the belt, but it's much more deserving than playing around on social media and talking smack on twitter while refusing to fight anyone in the division.

Who the fuck do you think tony is? The guys a true fighter hes not going to pull out to be champion hes going to earned it just like everything else in his career lol you dont go on 10 fight win streaks just to pull out of a fight and be called champion..thats not in that dude fabric..i think the real fear lies with khabib and his injury prone approach to training.. ufc doesnt want to call this is fight for the undisputed belt and strip conor just incsse this fight never happens due to another injury or missed weight cut...if this occurs the world basically resets and tony is intrim and again we wait for mcnugget to come play ball or vacate/stripped..

thats way more likely then tony pulling out so he could be the "real champion" lmao

No one ever went on a 10-fight winstreak in the most stacked division of the UFC. Nobody.

Tony is the real champ, and he would've fought Khabib for the interim belt, but Khabib didn't show up, so he fought Lee.
Did you already forget that?
