This is sad. My thoughts are with Jones and his family.

Victoria Jones, the daughter of famed actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead at a California hotel early on New Year’s Day, according to reports. She was 34.

Police arrived at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel around 3:14 a.m. on Thursday after a report of a medical emergency, the San Francisco Police Department told The Post.

Paramedics pronounced a woman, identified by TMZ’s sources as Jones, dead upon arrival, the outlet said.

Bystanders were given instructions to conduct CPR, but she was dead by the time authorities arrived on scene, the San Francisco Fire Department told Page Six.

Jones was the daughter of “The Fugitive” actor and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.

The Medical Examiner will investigate the cause of her death.

Jones acted when she was younger, appearing alongside her father in “Men in Black II.” She also had a role in the TV show “One Tree Hill.”

She also had a role in the 2005 film “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada,” which was directed by and starred her father, according to her IMDB profile.

Suicide or overdose?

Edit: just read the rest of the article, sounds like she has a history of drug abuse.

Damn that’s awful. Tommy seems like a grounded dude. Hope he has the health to bear this.
He is a great actor but there are many stories of how rude he is to others on sets. He famously told off Jim Carrey and Val Kilmer at the start of filming for Batman. If he is very serious like that, her drug use could have been an escape from him.

That's not a very appropriate thing to say, don't assume because he said hurty words to, two adult men, that he had some sort of abusive relationship with his daughter that made her want to take drugs..........

He’s a no nonsense sort of guy. Not everybody’s in the mood for Jim Carrey and his antics.

She sounds like was a real piece of work, was arrested 3 times last year. mostly for drugs related issues but also for domestic/elderly abuse.. (i havent been able to find who the elderly was, but assume it was one of her parents)

i feel sad for tommy,

I'm willing to bet it's a drug overdose being that it's at a hotel on new years day

Whether or not Tommy is a "nice person" is a bit irrelevant. It's always sad when a parent has to bury a child.
Unless that parent was Albert Fish, then I don't care about his feelings.

i feel sad for tommy,
i was talking to a friend today, we were discussing a missing person whose involvement in the drug scene is believed to be a part of it.

when somebody in your family becomes a drug addict and won't get help, you kinda mourn a life. of what life was "supposed" to be like, the moments together you lose, the deteriorating relationship, they become completely lost to the drugs. and if they die or go missing while in the grips of that, then that mourning gets even more complex.

so yeah, i do feel for the family if what you said is true. i can't imagine what he's been through, and what he'll go through now.
