Adamek-Molina headlines PPV card
Promoter Main Events announced on Wednesday that it has struck a deal for the card headlined by the heavyweight fight between Tomasz Adamek and Eric Molina, who meet April 2 at Krakow Arena in Adamek’s native Poland, to be available in the United States and Canada via Integrated Sports Media pay-per-view.
The $29.95 card will be carried live on cable and satellite systems beginning at 2 p.m. ET and the telecast will also include a pair of 10-round cruiserweight undercard fights: Poland’s Mateusz Masternak (36-4, 26 KOs) vs. Eric Fields (24-3, 16 KOs), of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Poland’s Michael Cieslak (11-0, 7 KOs) versus New York-based Puerto Rican Francisco Palacios (23-3, 14 KOs). Additional TV bouts will be determined.
Molina (24-3, 18 KOs), 33, of Raymondville, Texas, got an opportunity to fight for a heavyweight world title when he challenged Deontay Wilder in June, but got knocked out in the ninth round of a one-sided fight. He rebounded for a sixth-round knockout victory against low-level opponent Rodricka Ray in October.
