Keep an eye out on these guys. All fighting out of the same gym in the UK

Fabian is currently In bamma and had one fight on bellator. Soon to be in the ufc

Breese and L. Edwards have been in the UFC for several years and have each had some moments of brilliance and some not so good performances as well.

Breese has had his way with lesser opponents. Edwards has faced the tougher slate and is on a nice streak. The win over Luque is a real feather in his cap.

Edwards gets his chance in the limelight against Cerrone in Singapore in a couple of weeks.

Edwards only has two losses in the UFC, against two guys who have not lost in the UFC: Usman and Hannibal.

And the Hannibal fight is a very curious decision http://mmadecisions.com/decision/5668/Claudio-Silva-vs-Leon-Edwards

On the judges cards, Edwards won round 1 and 2, yet still lost the fight.

Looks like nothing but three Euros lacking ground games.

Leon used to be a pure striker but after his two loses in the ufc has really worked on his wrestling and ground game, which had shown in recent fights.

Tom breese is known to be at a good level in the bjj world

Fabian is very new to mma having only started training 3 years ago but In training gives the other guys a run for their money and in his fights pulls off submissions when he feels like it

I haven't seen the fight since it happened but I do remember it was a bit sketchy but at the same time I remember kinda thinking Edwards almost deserved to lose he fought such a stupid fight.I'd have to go back and watch it again to have a strong opinion. The Edwards of now would have killed that version (or this version) of him.

Also to note,Fabian is 5-0 pro and his record here has him 5-0 as an ammy but he's actually 10-0 as an ammy and 14 out of 15 are finishes.

They look pretty well rounded to be fair.

Edwards was getting beat up by on the feet by Tumenov but took him down and subbed him. Breese lost a decision to a wrestler in his one loss and has most of his wins by sub, I doubt he’ll be a threat off his back in the UFC though.

The onus is on Edwards to impress against Cerrone who shouldn’t really be considered a championship contender at welterweight at this point imo.

recap of Silva/Edwards bout

I can't believe that Breese was wasting his time and health cutting down to 170. Dude is big even for Middleweight.

Edwards has actually become a pretty good wrestler for a guy who was originally supposed to be a pure striker.

He got blanked by Usman, but there's no shame in that. Usman is a much more experienced grappler, and he had a size advantage.

I heard that he was about 190 at the day of fighting. Not sure if true though.

Breese is a big talent, but he seems to have some mental issues, like huge stress before fights, admitting he's not that confident etc. It may have a big impact on him against the top.

Edwards is good ,but no championship material - top 5 all-around gatekeeper at best. He won't have much to say against strong wrestlers or better strikers who can defend takedowns, like Till or Thompson.

Leon is still young and fairly new to mma himself having had no training as a child. I think in a few more years we could he looking at a challenger he has already gone up so many levels from his first ufc fight
