Do you think Tom Aspinall will ever fight again?

why would Tom not want to return though? For a conspiracy to be true it has to make sense.
  1. Tom doesn't want to return against Gane specifically as he got reality checked that Gane is better than him and would cause him to lose his title right now
  2. Losing his title would cause Tom to lose money and leverage for other situations
  3. Tom's stalling for time for someone else to take out Gane for him or for himself to have trained enough to beat him at a later date than would've normally happened
  4. This all allowed him to get LASIK like he needed all along anyways (he's been seen wearing glasses since at least 2021), but taking time off for LASIK would've gotten less sympathy for staying out than pretending it was to address something from an eye poke 4 months ago
  5. He's making money on his Youtube channel in the meantime and doesn't need to return if he doesn't have to
  6. His Youtube bucks will drop when he's no longer UFC champion

he had joe biden level mobility.
For real stipe was moving like a 45 year old guy who does boxing on the weekends. It wasnt jon that made him look bad he just looked bad
You guys ever stop and think that maybe Stipe looked like that because Jon slammed him on his head 90 seconds in and hellbowed the fuck out of him for a few minutes? Nobody would've complained if the fight was stopped then.

Stipe fought nearly the entire fight compromised from the brutal beating he absorbed in the opening minutes.

I dont know if he would have won anyway but he was awful. there was no snap on his punches. and he looked like he had cte by the way he was moving. I wouldnt be surprised if Ngannou buried him

So according to you, he should sacrifice himself financially in order to bring HW back to life? Like wtf, of course he doesnt give a fuck about that. Especially, as he done nothing wrong
If he's going to be out for 6+ more months yes. He owes it to the fans to allow the division to move on.

It doesn't matter. Jiri didn't do anything wrong when he got injured. He still vacated.

Time to change the fucking gloves. Too many fights have been ruined by eye pokes and enabling cheaters to win.

Fix the gloves to fighters can't straighten their hands into eye pokes. Problem solved.
Honestly I think they just need to adjust the rule.

Right now you can't point your fingers towards your opponents face, but you can point them up. Well that's a problem. Stick your arm out, point your fingers up with an open palm, and then quickly extend your palm out to your maximum reach. You should notice that your fingers are almost forced down. This is how eye pokes happen.

We need the rule to be amended that you must curl your fingers away from your opponent. Anything else should be warned immediately, and resulting eye pokes can then be met with immediately point deductions.

He owes nothing to the fans and he is mostly fighting to feed his family. Everybody with a brain knows you should never vacate the belt yourself

If Jon would take me on as an advisor, and ask me: "should I give up the belt, and all the financial advantages and leverage that go with it?", I would answer: "well, that does not sounds exactly rational and smart, Jon"

However, Jon was actually holding up the division and playing games with the fans. So the fans had a right to call for his belt to be stripped. But again, why would Jon give a fuck about that? Think he cares more about his bank account

With Tom, you can also add to that some Frenchman did a double poke for millions of viewers. You may have seen it. That may also have something to do with him being out right now

Disagree.

And Tom is gonna lose a lot of goodwill with the fans if he hangs onto that belt without defending before the summer.

Why would Tom lose goodwill? Can you enlighten me? As I cant think of a reason
Guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Sounds like you're biased. I'm a fan of Tom's and I'll lose respect for him if he sits out and freezes the division for the rest of the year, after criticizing Jones for doing the exact same thing.

It doesn't matter if you're injured or not. If you're not willing or able to fight, you should vacate and take your title shot when you return.

Tom you're trying to hard... nobody believes your bs stories. Excuse after excuse. Youve been called out multiple times by real fighters. Complete joke. Nobody in north america gives 2 shits about you. Leave the ufc you'll quickly find out nobody wants to see you fight. If this is the "baddest man on the planet" were in trouble
Why do none of you fucking retards know the difference between to/too

Tom Aspinall’s UFC career in jeopardy 4 months after Ciryl Gane’s eye pokes:

- He still cannot track moving targets with his eyes
- He has to take 32 eye drops a day
- He gets vertigo/dizziness if he changes direction suddenly
- He misses people’s hands when he shake them
- He has to ask people to drive him to places
- He struggles to play with his kids
- He has a black spot in his vision that won’t go away

(Via: Tom Aspinall)

Sounds like a bad hangover..

he needs to retire and sue the UFC. Eye pokes have been a problem since Jones started fighting and the UFC has done jack shit to prevent them.
