To what extent do you think 1 or 2 porn vids affects a women`s future employment?

Are they destined for low-wage jobs, or could they still get employed in higher-paying professions?


And for the record, I'm not dating or considering dating a one-time porn star....but I do watch porn, and wonder what the future holds for these thousands of women.

Depends on the position. Teachers have been fired recently for porn/scandalous pictures.

Gauge couldn't keep her job (medical assistant i think).

It's probably pretty easy to get hired. For one thing, I'm pretty sure those names are fake. For another, there's a lot of porn to work your way through, it's possible for less accomplished performers to never become well known.

Downside is that it could blow up on you any time though. Best move would be to put on a ton of weight after leaving the industry, or lose a ton depending on your niche. Being able to deny by saying, "that person weighs 100 lb more than I do, and I don't have striped bass hanging out of my anus at all!" is probably enough to persuade folks to drop the issue.

I had a coworker who was a former prostitute. She was a high end independent operator, but I never made any fuss about it, because how did I know about it? I don't want any part of that line of questioning.

That might have been true in the 90s, but everybody's got a degree now, moving from porn to hr at a specialty insurance company isn't some crazy move if you've got a BA in marketing or some other useless thing.
