What did Cody do to deserve the immediate rematch? He got handily finished in the first fight and he didnt even have a win as the champ.
 
Fucking lame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TJ had to fight several times to get another title shot. UFC is fucking so lame lately.

UFC tied up the contenders to justify trying to book Johnson vs. Dillashaw, but since Dillashaw turned down Garbrandt on short notice to save the card, the UFC is punishing him by calling off his fight against Johnson.

As for the rematch, I could see it going either way, it depends entirely on Garbrandt remaining calm and focused. When he went head hunting he got knocked out.

Good that Cody took time off after that KO. If he fights smart i can see him winning

politically motivated from an office standpoint? interesting take.

I think cody is too cocky and too stupid to do this fight with a reserved approach even if his skill set is probably ahead of TJ's (not by much and certainly debatable)
 
Stuff like this is why MMA will never be taken seriously as a sport.
 
Let's pray for some tiramisu, boxing injuries, or tripping over some wires.
