I'm not sure I even believe the story TJ is saying, but if its true its really interesting and says a lot about how important the mental game and feeling tougher/having a mental edge on your opponent is important.

I think this says a lot about McGregor vs Aldo and how that all played out.

Because McGregor was clearly the better fighter that night, but without his bullying and antics leading up to the fight, do you really think the fight would have ended in only 13 seconds?

Basically some new guy at TAM who was a boxer was getting really good at MMA and beating Danny Castillo's ass until Danny started bullying him and making fun of him and then Danny was beating his ass instead.

Haven't listed to it, but that's not a good thing for TJ if he believes it. Cruz will always get the best of him verbally and psychologically before fights. It's like he's Joe Frazier and Cruz is Ali...

Cruz is a lot different than Conor, but he's quite articulate and very confident. He also has consistent "story" he sells before fights. TJ just isn't good with that kind of stuff. All he can do is say Cruz is a pitter-patter point fighter, and try to lure him into a brawl. That won't work.

No matter how much Aldo denies it, he was gotten to. Rushing out like that on full adrenaline and emotion was uncharacteristic of him. If he was cool and collected it would have been a different fight.
