lol wtf is Silly Dilly talking about here?

He chose to cut ties with TAM to represent and get paid to train at musclepharm...

Did he expect Faber to let him bash TAM saying "it's just a bunch of guys coaching each other with no real head coach", get paid to be the face of another gym and still train at TAM part time?

I honestly feel the actual truth is lying somewhere in the middle.

I'm so glad Cruz won their fight, we would have never heard the end of it if Dillashaw had won, even if it was a razor thin fight. I just never cared for Dillashaw, I'm not sure why. I'm not a Barao fan or anything like that, I just like Cruz more. His style is less exciting but it's more strategic/tactical and I love hearing his analysis and commentary on FOX, he's great behind the desk.

Yeah, it was a rough day for TJ.

TJ is a pretty emotional guy.

He was like that on tuf and even after the Dom fight, he set himself up to make Dom look like an experienced gangster. Dom" sorry I didn't say nice things" lol

Yep, he said he doesn't like to trash talk but he would have talked so much shit if he won that split decision.

Cruz even called him out on being a fake nice guy.

I'm thinking... I really don't care anymore. Dillashaw seems bitter and is whining perpetually every single time he gets a chance to. If he really chose to leave and Faber was the guy who did him wrong he would/should have just let it go, moved on and would be preparing for another fight. 135 doesn't have a lot of guys set up for a title shot right now. All he has to do is win one fight and he's right back in there for the belt.

Be quiet. Train. Sign up for a fight soon.

A guy I worked with used to train with TJ and before all this snake in the grass stuff started coming out and before he left TAM I asked him how cool it was for TJ to be with TAM. I remember he was like, "Meh".

I distinctly remember him mentioning that even though he was cool with TJ, he was a bit of a doucher and the whole gym didn't really like him because of his faux nice guy thing. At the time I didn't believe it but it turns out the dude was a prophet. The whole think played out just like he was saying.

honestly can someone explain why Dillashaw is hated so much? preferably not some gimp (of which there are many on here) who just regurgitate the Dillasnake shite that McGregor spouted? fighters change camps all the time I can't see why this is so different?

Why the fk would any fan give a sht where someone trains? TJ Dillashaw is awesome.

This thread is now about pictures of snakes in grass.

TJ seems like a shy, awkward and emotional guy, so in his head he probably felt like he needed to mix up his training by branching out, but he didn't know how to go about it in a way that would not damage the relationship. I would imagine that he initially denied wanting to start training part time elsewhere because he was worried it would hurt the team, but in going about it the wrong way and lying, he went full anakin skywalker and caused the very problems he was specifically trying to avoid.

He was hoping that he could mix up his training and still stay part time at TAM or coming back in the future, but once he started misleading people instead of having an open discussion, he hurt some feelings. They flat out told him he had to choose and couldn't come back to train in the future if he left.

So of course he was tears. It makes sense. He didn't want it to go down like that.

What he should do is go and apologize for his role in it if that is the case. Apologize for misleading and/or lying, and for anything rude he said after they were on bad terms and leave it at that.

After some time passes maybe the relationship can be salvaged and one day they'll work together again.
