...if he had more of the IT factor in terms of personality (personality and charisma plays a huge role in drawing in MMA, whether anyone likes it or not.) Just look at all the different ways you could market his name alone:

Dillashaw (his name)
Thrillashaw (his entertainment factor)
Killashaw (his killer instinct and his ability to knock people out)
Billashaw (his ability to draw money and sell tickets)
 
What do you want him to do? Do you want him to be fake and put on a song and dance for you?

He's just being himself, fighting the best dudes and is exciting as fuck to watch. That's good enough for me.
 
TJ's split decisions losses could have also gone his way and he could be on a massive win streak and in discussions for best of all time.

It's good enough for me too, I'm just saying. I like seeing the best fighters out there (especially when they're among my favorites) being as famous and relevant as possible. GSP never talked trash or stirred the shit pot, but he still drew pretty big regardless just based on natural charisma alone.

If that never happened and the judges gave him that split decision against that weird goofie dude hed be on an even more insane run and have huge hype.

He could still get there if MM stopped running

A lot of posters try to justify this as him just "being ultra competitive"

Personally I hope the next person he does it to goes 100% on him suddenly and stiffens him. That'll learn him

You don't have to be undefeated to be a huge star. People place too much emphasis on wins and losses when it comes to star power.
