Tito Ortiz's Top 5 Bands of All Time

Korn is from my home town, I know some of the family members, been back stage I still don’t like their music
Bakersfield. Ive seen them there and live about an hour and a half away. They changed their name so only locals would attend since it was a small venue. They are ok in my opinion, no a huge fan by any means but i enjoyed the show.

The local college kids at CSUB knew about the name change and informed me thats how I found out.

Hahahaha!!!!! Exactly what I would have expected. Actually a little surprised he didn't throw in Papa Roach, Ja Rule or T-Pain.

I just read Chael's book and with his excellent taste in music it just reinforces again how opposite those two guys are.
IIRC Chael wrote "How Soon is Now" by the Smiths would be a great a walk-in song.

I don’t listen to Korn or new metal anymore, but they put on some really good shows back in the day. Jonathan Davis is one of the most emotional singers I have ever seen perform live, and they usually sound pretty good. I remember one show he flipped out and started crying, covered himself with a towel and went back stage, then came back out with the bagpipes and the crowd went crazy. Good shit. I may have to throw on some shoots and ladders for old time sake.

Dr Dre is a much better producer and business Mann than he was a rapper honestly.

Other than getting laid a few times at parties with limp bizkit blasting outside the door in the late 90’s, I was never a big fan of them, mostly because of Fred lol

Snoop hasn’t done anything of note musically since the beginning of the century, but somehow is still everywhere.

Wow thank you for the clarification. I’m glad we have someone here to shed light on the matter. God forbid Tito makes this mistake again
lol yeah I'll straighten his ass out quick. He was a tall really nice to us when we met him and took pics in 06 @UFC 57

I hate

The 90s. I hate that decade of music.
Hate is strong word.
Loathe. A loather
90’s fucking ruled. Kyuss, At the Drive In, Built to Spill, Soundgarden, sublime......

Also the best decade for hip hop and rap

Ah man, ATDI was my shit back in the day. Way better than Mars Volta.

I wouldn’t say that it’s totally different genres. I love prog rock and De-loused was a good blend of the Volta and ATDI sound.

Legendary drums too. Jon Theodore is in Queens of the Stone Age now

Korn is decent but top 5 ? The rest ...
