Titanoboa vs Megalodon

Why are all the freaking cool monster animals all extinct? Megalodon, Titanoboa, Sarcosuchus and what do we have todoay? Goddamn blue whales. Yeah, that's exciting. Wake me when gigantic spiders are a thing (and then kill me, because fuck gigantic spiders).

oxygen levels are too low compared to prehistoric ages, making it impossible for land creatures the big to exist

I so wish(still hope) that these exist somewhere. The ocean is a scary ass place. Meglodon by first round Chuck Liddell overhand right.

The one who attacks the other wins...

If the snake bites the shark and coils around it... what do you suppose that the shark would do?

Imo, the snake is the only one that can fight back if attacked.

So I'll say snake.

Well according to scientist we only need to bump the degrees on earth a bit and evolution will start to favor massive creatures once more ;-)

Definitely, there must be some absolute monster crocs out there somewhere. I'm sure people have seen them, but that is most likely the last thing they were able to see :(. LoLong died last year i believe?

The scale looks weird? The 21ft croc looks twice the size of the 18ft croc?

In deep waters Megalodon wins easily.

On land, Titanoboa via not being dead.

The scientist actually believed that the Titanboa was a primarily water based animal via the Titanboa documentary on netflix. They felt it would almost be impossible for it to navigate through the dense jungles or forests due to its size.

I say whoever initiates the first attack would win the battle in this one.

Titanoboa is a can.

I saw one video where they were discussing which would win between a titanoboa and a t-rex, and they suggested that the titanoboa would launch intself into the air and wrap around the t-rex.

Lol, that's not even possible and a t-rex would stomp that snake.

Anyway, this fight is pretty much scaled up anaconda vs scaled up great white.

The shark wins in both cases.

The meg would sever the snake in half the second it got a hold of it.

Gustave and Lolong are the closest crocs to Sarcosuchus that we're most likely to see :(.

Gustave (furthest back, middle croc is a fully grown female)

If you do a google image search for Gustave the crocodile you'll find a pic of a croc with a human arm in its mouth... and it's a legit pic taken at a zoo...

Neither could survive in the others enviroment for more than a minute.

How about the shark just dives underwater and waits for the snake to drown?

Do people not realize that the snake is out weighed 88-1? The titan boa would be totally incapable of harming a Megaladon, it would be like a 88lb Juvenal python trying to take down a full grown great white shark.

The Titan Boa isn't a can, it's just fighting 100 weight classes above it's fighting weight.
