News Titanic Tours Submersible missing in atlantic ocean

Hope there’s someone smart enough to kill everyone else so the air last longer and they got some food.

It took Ballard several days of searching to find the Titanic and he only found it by tracing its debris field. There is little to no hope of finding something as small as that sub in the time they have left if they are even alive.

I can almost certainly guarantee you impending death is a strong cock-softener.
When your brain realizes it's in mortal danger of potential death it literally shuts down blood supply to non-essential systems, like food digestion. Nobody is getting an erection in a tiny sub with a short time to live.

Or you could be one of the people that get a hard-on in nervous situations lol.

That is literally the exact same thing that happened with the guy that Vince McMahon hired to build the rigging designed to lower Owen Hart from the ceiling of the arena back in '99
But if I remember correctly, everything worked out fine in the end and Owen landed safely so I think these submarine people will probably ending up being alright too

Owen just got a bruise on his bum, he's fine....right? Lol

How long do they have?

Just look at this POS. Exposed hoses and other things just sticking out

Imagine paying a quarter million to get lost in the Atlantic Ocean. (smh). This... like cocaine... is God's way of telling people they have too much money.

Hope they survive though.

i agree. i think it's all about the thrill. to be able to say you actually saw the titanic underground, may be worth it for someone who has a lot of money.

Its hard to make sense of this. A dive of this magnitude without a second team topside is outrageous. I think they launched the sub from about two hours away from the site of the dive. Even more inexplicable is if they had a power failure, they could still manually release the ballast to rise to the surface, yet, it appears that also didn't happen. I hate to say it but catastrophic hull failure and submersible implosion seems likely to me at this point. Instant death.

Seriously, man. I would've just eyeballed that thing and said fuck this

And especially once I found out I was going to be bolted into the thing and there was no escape from the inside

No telling what sort of stupid shit I’d do if I were a billionaire.. but I know this ain’t it.

Highly likely they’re all toast.. and hopefully it happened fast and they aren’t just freezing and suffocating to death.

Damn, that fuckin sucks.

R.I.P to those poor frozen bastads.

Yea, as I said in post #253, the series of events doesn't make a lot of sense. Those type submersibles are designed to sink basically, they don't use any power while going down then when they get to the desired depth they power up to move around. If they had a power failure they could still manually release ballast to rise back to the top, but it appears they haven't. So simply attributing this to a power outage doesn't make sense. Catastrophic hull failure, however, would have killed them all instantly at a depth of 12,500 feet.

The underwater drone that can get to that depth isn't expected to be on site till tomorrow evening. About the same time as the Navy's salvage ship. On the 1% chance that they locate them and they're alive. There could only be mere hours to get them hoisted up. That 8 hours that Oceangate waited to notify the Coast Guard was crucial

Yea plus it probably smells really bad. That's a minivan sized submersible. Where are they pissing and shitting?
