It's incredible how some sherdogers here seem to target brazilians (hell i guess they think the same of africans, western europeans, and who knows who else ?) everytime an event happens in Brazil.

How many times have you witnessed drunk americans dumbasses fight each other during an event ? I guess many. The thing that disgusts me the most is that so many try to ethnicize these type of things without looking at the facts : maybe MMA crowds are not the most respectful and "educated".

If you want to generalize things and put the blame on a whole country, i can do the same. Cause i'm tired of all the "brazil gonna brazil" shit. i can also say "murica gonna murica". And i can generalize the many drunk fights i have witnessed while i was in New York, Seattle, and San Fransisco and make a quick judgement saying all of you guys are a bunch of drunk pigs.

But i'm not. Cause i met many americans that i consider my friends. Warm and welcoming people that helped me when i was lost in the streets. And while i travelled, i met so many brazilians that were joyful and incredibly simple and cool guys.

Please guys step up your game and quit the stupid bashing cause it's not showing the best part of your personnalities

Americans wouldn't put their hands on a fighter 3 times during his walkout because he flipped them off

Curitiba really let Brazil down with that event.

Fucking McGregor was flipping motherfuckers off during his walkout at UFC 196 and he didn't get punched. I am pretty sure Koscheck didn't get punched when he fought GSP in Canada.

Alot of bitch moves from the brazilian crowds no doubt and something really needs to be done but some people are taking it a bit too far and straight making shit up.

Great you're speaking on the name of 300 millions inhabitants. You should be president

the silence when Miocic was celebrating was bordering on comedy. Fuck off that we cant talk about this just because its brazil.

According to this picture of Kenny Florian, he tried to convey that very same message.

Get over it, Americans get bashed by everybody (even Americans).

Holy shit fuck off. If you can't see the problem, you're the problem. Your people made Brazil look like shit.

Then How about the Brazillian fighters and fans do the following.

1: Change the excuse making attitude and give credit where credit is due.

2: Change the shitty over the top life threats and chanting (numerous times I have heard Brazillian fighters and fans threaten to kill and or chop off other fighters heads)

3: Brazil has a whole needs to adhere more strictly to the testing laws of the UFC amd be more transparent. Ie Wand running away, Jose's little mishap and lost sample that had to get replaced etc list goes on.

Do these things and you would probably see the hate such as it is die down.

You are on Sherdog, TS. Might as well get over it and that crowd was shit too.

"my people", am i a tribe chief or something ? First of i'm not brazilian (at all) and then the simple fact of putting the blame of what happened on "brazilians" in general shows how short your education must have been.

How about as a Brazilian you call out the douche countrymen who are disrespecting and embarrassing you and your own people?

Honestly call them out and put them on notice if there behavior is unacceptable.

Instead of giving them a pass and instead whine about the repercussions cause people are painting you with the same brush.

Pretty much

It was a poor showing by a few "fans" so poor that it soured a lot of people on thr whole country, which is a joke

Be careful talking negatively about Brazil.

I hate to generalize. But the whole fucking country melted down when Germany spanked the home squad 7 - 1. in the 2014 World Cup Semi Final match. Even the German players felt bad, and gifted them a goal so it wouldn't be a shut out.

Obviously not every single person in Brazil. But a huge majority of them are so invested mentally in sports that it's kinda crazy. I believe it's because it's not the greatest country in the world to live in. Parts of it are no different than a third world slum. And I'm not knocking them for that. But it is a fact of life.

People attacking an athlete like they did is really fucked up. Thousands cheering and chanting about wanting to see fighters die. That's fucking pathetic.

Fair or not to all Brazilians. They've earned it with their deeds, and actions.

I'm not about to stick up for people like that. And I don't bash them. Though I do take the opportunity to mention 2014 whenever I can. Germany is my team and they fucking smoked Brazil.
