Time to retire Ron Pearlman and go back to the Gladiator intro

I think the current ones are ok, but I liked the nostalgic feeling of the old ones better

The gladiator intro was Kino, actually got me hyped up for events. Ron Perlman is a lame wannabe tough guy who tweets about republicans all the time.
Which makes it even more puzzling that Dana still allows it to be used.

You guys realize their is a fanyboy who posts their own gladiator clip before each fight and they are freaking awesome?

I think Ron has a great voice, but the script he reads is ludicrous. Some of the things he says to intro the fighters for the event are so over the top sometimes and way beyond hype, it just makes my asshole clinch it's so cringey.

If I had to choose, the gladiator intro with the nu metal face the pain shit with the highlights was better. If Ron's script was more down to earth and realistic it may be another story.

I remember pleading with some of my non-MMA fan friends to watch a PPV with me for the first time.

Finally convinced them to watch UFC 139.

As soon as they saw the muscle gladiator and heard "face the pain," they looked at me like I was the dumbest fuck on the planet.

They enjoyed the fights though, so it was all good in the end.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: friends, any redblooded man would like that intro and the music

I like both but I do miss the gladiator intro. Let’s just mix it up. It doesn’t have to be the same every time.

Those people aren't your friends.

It was cool at first but then it got old... like who gives a shit.
