Wrong. After learning grappling and becoming well rounded at MMA, Semmy only lost to top guys (Barnett, Fedor, Kharitonov and Big Nog), having 16 wins in a row if we remove these fights of his record, beatinng former UFC contenders Pete Williams (at UFC) and Gan McGee in the process

Yeah it doesn't seem like a good matchup considering Sylvia's potential weakness to aggressive powerful strikers with good technique. Then again I think Aleks at his best would be a bad matchup for a lot of fighters around today as indeed would Semmy, quality grapplers with good cardio were there weakness back in the day and that kind of fighter is much rarer now.
