I'm no metallurgist but I was under the impression that Platinum doesn't rust.

Perry is a "bang bro" guido. Almost as overhyped as Khablob.

Till said he'd take the fight even with Perry coming off a loss. He said he's a fighter and wants to fight and everyone loses so Perry coming off a loss doesn't matter to him.
 
People still believe platinum is any good?
The guy just bangs and that’s all he has.
I know is entertaining to watch but so is black beast, Diego Sanchez, tank, baroni, etc. They are entertaining to watch but mediocre fighters at best
 
I get it, Till doesnt care about rankings. But rewarding Perry, who was already unranked, with an even higher ranked opponent then who he just faced makes ZERO sense. Till vs. Ponzi or even Till vs Masvidal would be good.

It doesn’t matter what Till wants or says!! he’s not Conor and doesn’t get to pick his fights. Till will be on to bigger things and mike will hopefully (for his sake) stick to cans and hype himself back up to a loss / money fight
 
I'm starting to think only Conor has more haters on Sherdog than Mike Perry. For fuck's sake, how can someone hate an action/stand and bang fighter like Perry? Isn't this why we got into the sport?

I think Till is legit, but one thing Perry haters can't argue (or shouldn't, unless they are dumbasses) is that he has the power to knock out ANYONE. He has a decent shot in any matchup to catch a guy (in a variety of ways too...knees and elbows, not just overhand rights) and put them to sleep. The iron chin and heart also help his chances in every fight.

Perry is one of those guys who's always worth an underdog bet.

I'll speak for myself and say that I definitely did not get into the sport for "stand and bang" fighters. To each their own, I suppose. Don't get me wrong, there's certainly a place for those kinds of fighters. Perry puts on fun fights, and he's entertaining on the mic. He's perfect for the main slot on the prelims, or the opening fight on a Fox card.

But until Perry proves he's more than just a fun "stand and bang" fighter, he should be fighting low-level guys and other "fun" fighters. Till has already moved beyond that. It's time to find out if Till is the real deal and put him against a high-level guy. If he loses, then a fight with Perry would make more sense.
