Media Till asked for release to 'get injections on knee'

This is the biggest clownshow moment for USADA yet - either he legit needs some kind of medical attention he can't get because of USADA (supremely unlikely) or he just wants to get sauced then return.

If the UFC is happy to play along with him stating this as his intention then it also makes a complete mockery of their relationship to their own testing programme.

The MMA 'journalists' should be asking Dana at his

As long as he's not competing and is more than clean during his lead up to his next fight and his next contract and his camp then I mean anyone has the power to do what they want after no longer being considered an athlete for a time. Doctors will give it to you and it's not technically illegal but you'll have to do the 6 months and you'll have to be completely clean through his entire camp and next fights...

He needs to do something different then what hes been doing...his legs are cooked ...could be a good move... A short of Hiatus...

But he has to be clean though without doubt coming back

he'll go get juiced up, get some wins, come back to the ufc and get tooled again, Darren gonna Darren!

Imagine acting like a junior deputy for USADA like some of the people posting here.

The UFC let guys take stem cells for recovery. Till was probably gonna be cut anyway.

These guys put on fights for us and deal with injuries that we don’t see or hear about a lot of times. Let them juice all they want, they still have to do a 6 month testing pool to get back in so they’ll be clean by the time they fight.

If any athlete needs steroids to help heal injuries, it’s fighters.
And yet the shills don't want them getting paid either.

I think this is a rare smart move to be honest. If he were to be cut he'd never get back mentally but if he leaves on his own turn, manages to win outside of UFC, heal up and still have the hunger he can come back strong.

I go back and forth with roids but the older I get and feel my body slowly fall apart, I see the benefits, I completely sympathize with people using them for recovery, there needs to be some kind of loophole where you can use if a doctor is recommending it for recovery and just can't fight again til it's out of your system.

It would be nice if steroids and growth hormone were allowed for injury recovery. We would have more active fighters in the UFC and better performances

Steroids are almost never used to heal injuries for long term good results. Now that there’s PRP therapy and Stem cell therapy among many others steroid treatment is ancient technology.

If it was commonplace as the best treatment the NFL and for that matter any other sport would have run into this problem already.

The MMA 'journalists' should be asking Dana at his next press conference if him, Hunter and the organsiation really are down with fighters gaming the system they've put in place, and if so why the even bother to have a system.

This is going to be the next big thing with these guys thanks to Conor.
Its amazing that they're letting this shit go on especially since they know exactly what's happening.

Can’t till just get a TUE if a doctor is recommending it?

Or couldn’t he just eat a 2 yr ban? Why ask for your release???

It puts him outside of USADA testing all together sir.
That way he can return when he's ready to get back in the testing pool.

Thing is, he doesn't have the work ethic to make the steroids help lol.

Till is just trying to save face.

The UFC cut him because he repeatedly missed weight at welterweight, repeatedly pulled out of fights at middleweight, couldn’t beat top fighters at either weight class, only fought once a year, but was still on a 100k/fight contract. It made no sense to keep him around.

Isn't 6 months enough time for PEDs to wear off?
the permanent changes ped does the to human body the person will always have an advantage going forward even when he isnt juicing anymore. think of it as going thru puberty again. Many of my friends do steroids and it absolutely changes u, even when they arent on it they manage to retain more mass and endurance

they absolutely do not put on fights for us. The fight for money and couldve give a shit about us. rules are rules, they know the risk involved in this sport

Crying about his reasons is fruitless, im talking to you usada supporters.

What, we gotta see pics of MRIs, Xrays and get testimonials from his Drs? If he says hes fucked and needs treatment that usada doesnt allow, then id say hes telling the truth.

Getting jUiCeD tO tHe GiLls isnt all performance, its dominantly for recovery. So fuck him because he doesnt heal as fast as others? Bah, that argument is for the birds. Nothing to lose by having exciting fighters fighting more often, injury free.
