I always loved those size comparison pics as a kid, that ape is sick btw.

Got anymore?

I have actually seen a video of a bear vs a tiger several years ago. The video was real and was not some hypothetical fantasy made for tv match up. Now the bear was not a grizzly...I think it was some sort of asian brown bear or something, it was clearly not as large as an adult male grizzly. From what I remember the tiger repeatedly got the better of the bear, it was much faster then the bear and much more "explosive" the bear always ended up on its back and on the defensive, even though it appeared to have the size advantage.

For what its worth.

Yeah the tiger isn't just strong, but also VERY fast and VERY stealthy.

The bear has a chance to win if he lands a good blow, but I'd say most of the time, tiger > bear.

Can you imagine the size and quantity of McShits the first three would be forced to immediately endure after dealing with Ronald and his endless supply of double angus cheeseburgers, bros? It's not even fair.

If you take him out it then I was going to say grizzly. Apparently I would be one of the few so I'm undecided based on the fact that I have nothing to support this other than that fight they put on out in California in the early 1900s (I think) between a lion and a bear. I must be underestimating tigers.

A large grizzly is almost twice the size of a large tiger, and big tiger is almost twice the size of a gorilla. If you took average from each species the bear would be only a little larger than the gorilla, but both would be a hundred pounds heavier than the gorilla at least. If you picked examples of all the same size, you would end up with a gorilla in his prime, while the tiger and bear would be very small adults.

Lol this thread reminds me of that 1k grizzys vs 10k brock lesnars thread.

Grizzly every time. YouTube it. There's at least one real fight.

The bear is too big and strong, but what really does it is their ability to stand upright with more balance for longer periods of time. The tiger kept getting pwnt and toppled over. Bears have better Greco/Judo.

Didnt the Romans hold fights between these type of animals? I'm pretty sure the Grizzly used to win, something too do with Lions and Tigers skulls being 'weak' so they were crushed by the bears jaws. And a Gorilla will lose to both.

i voted with my heart and said tiger, but i think a gorilla and a grizzly would both probably destroy that beautiful creature.

The Grizzly. Showing a video of a Cougar fighting for its young vs. a Grizzly (apparently) fighting for a potential meal is irrelevant. Backed to the wall and fighting for its life a 2,000 pound grizzly destroys a 450-600 pound tiger (depending on the breed).

What on earth do you think a 350 pound gorilla has going for it that could save it against a 600 pound Siberian Tiger?
