Or "When Casuals Write About MMA"

"Takedown specialist. There has only been one time inside the Octagon that Conor McGregor has ever looked helpless and that was when Chad Mendes was able to put him on his back. For as world class as McGregor's standup game is, he will have no chance trying to defend Diaz's Jiu-Jitsu."

Conor will wrestlefuck Nate to a boring decision.

Sorry what??? Conor doesn't wrestle. At least not in any of his UFC fights with the exception of the Hollaway match. The last thing he wants to do is get in a clinch with a Diaz brother. They may not have stellar wrestling by any stretch but they can get fights to the ground (usually via trips) when they want. The big problem with the bros is that they love to bang. Nate is one of only two guys to submit Jim Miller, a guy with 14 sub wins. He is no joke on the ground.

hey, it's the delusional Conor nuthugger guy with the huge green font calling someone a "casual." Oh the iron knee

I would agree that Nate's best chance is to take it to his opponent's biggest weakness, and I think trying to get into clinch range would be the key here. The problem is that Conor is probably stronger and it will make it hard for Nate to do anything if he does get on the inside.

Personally, I don't think Nate cares that much about winning. Hope I'm wrong, but he seems off to me for some reason. No way in hell do I see him being able to win using his high volume low power style on 1/2 of his usual gas tank. It's very hard to be sharp when you haven't been sparring and training those fast twitch reflexes.

Pretty sure this guy is Forbidden Sun

This style of thread feels familiar

Nate is very good at catching guys in transitions - something that's very hard to defend when you are not an elite bjj guy.

Can't stand that gay "ninja" crap. He thinks it sounds cool but makes him look like an uneducated buffoon.

Oh shut up, ya fecking nuthugging shkitter! Away on!

You're going to get attacked by the guys with Conor's balls in their gullets.

That said, no. This is an easy fight for Conor. Nate hasn't trained since December and has lost most of the muscle he put on to be effective and quick in that fight.

If I've watched UFC since #1, but I don't train or lift or go to a gym. Am I a casual?

What is the definition of a casual? Why is their opinion sub-human?
