Why does it matter in this case as they've already been apprehended? The only description of any importance is the one still at large.

They're in custody and going to jail for a long time, I don't even need to know their names for the story to be complete

Since I live in a heavily Hispanic area, the police and local government have become uber-PC regarding ethnicity/race to the point that when they put out a description of a criminal they were looking for, they said something retarded like, "Six-foot male in his 30s wearing a blue sweater."

What's easier to change: your sweater or your race? Morons.
 
Did I miss something? I didn't see a Muslim reference/possibility in the story.
