So the last time they did this, I believe, was at UFC 33, when the card overran and people who paid for the PPV missed half of the main event. For this reason, people have up to now assumed that it wouldn't happen at UFC 200.

So what does this mean? Are they going to buy more time for the PPV? Or are they going to possibly put another five-rounder on it and only have four fights on the main card?

The pay-per-view just keeps replaying bro you would know that if you didn't just stream

Didn't the Ronda vs Bethe card have extra fights and a longer ppv timeslot as a result?

But the top fight isn't a title fight.

So hopefully the curse will be broken hahaha

A co-main event still to come.

I reckon they're going to book 5 hours. Like WWE does with Wrestlemania

Every time I've ever ordered a pay-per-view, it keeps replaying. I'm pretty sure that they buy a timeslot for triple the amount of time they expect

This. A stand by display screen is shown for x amount of time after each event. In anticipation of an event running over time.

If you had ever ordered a pay-per-view in your life you would know exactly what I mean
But it's irrelevant. We're talking about how long the PPV goes on for, not whether it repeats or not.

if all three 5 round fights go to judges decisions then man its gonna be a crazy long night and could start to drag, imagine if the other normal three round fights on the card also went to decisions.

Four 5 round fights = 20 rounds. Two 5 round fights plus three 3 round fights = 19 rounds. But you've also got only four build-up and post-fight periods instead of five.

I think they learned their lesson after that event. I wouldn't count on missing the remainder of the fights of the event runs over time

Well, you'd be wrong on that count. It's happened before that it overran the allotted time and they do have to worry about it to this day. Not all PPV services are identical, either. It might matter where you get it from. If you get it over the internet through a PPV streaming service, that's different from ordering it through the cable company or what have you.

People got kicked out of bars watching that Bethe-Ronda PPV because it went so long.
