Listen, Fedor was my first mma mancrush, I love the guy, but on paper Jones destroys him easily from the distance.

The only thing with Fedor is that he could pull some trick from under his sleeve and finish in a weird shocking fashion (him and Anderson Silva had that ability), but Jones has an incredible chin so it would be very hard to do in any case.

Yes I’m sure Fedor would definitely beat a man with twice his reach and would immediately get back to his feet when taken inevitably taken down. Fedor’s ability to take punishment would have DESTROYED JONES stamina by taking every elbow from mount and he would have placed Jones in an oomaplata. Maybe even a gogoplata. When Jones would have been picking him apart at reach Fedor would just bullrush him. Yeah that’s the ticket
