Thoughts on the dawn of GSP's return.

He says he is better now than the best version of GSP we have seen in the past, so i am excited.

A lot of great matches on the horizon.

Strange that so many are picking GSP over Bisping. I'm a huge GSP fan and not exactly a fan of The Count, but he's a bad match up for GSP. Awesome TDD, high pressure striking, and he's a big MW. GSP is an average sized WW who was already holding a lot of muscle.

The fact that he specifically wanted to fight Bisping tells me he might know something we don't (and sees a hole in Bisping's defense he can exploit), but...I don't know. GSP is definitely the better wrestler, has a faster jab and is the better overall athlete, but if he can't get this to the mat frequently and quickly, he's got a big MW with an endless gas tank chasing him down.

I'd love to see Bisping get clowned for 5 rounds and dropped with a stiff jab <Moves>

I was so happy to see a fighter go out on top. so I am a little disappointed to see GSP come back. but also very excited to see him fight again.

as others have mentioned, GSP is very shrewd and so he must see something in Bisping that gives him the advantage

I thought that Woodley was a much easier match up. Low volume striker with a limited gas tank. GSP is a master of distance. Reference the Rory fight.
There are some obvious things he can exploit, for that matter. He can throw kicks until the cows come home and Bisping is never going to try to take him down. Although he's a little shorter, he has around the same reach as Bisping. He's built like a gorilla. And he's faster. Sure, I think this will be a tough fight for both guys, but whether or not GSP has found some sort of kryptonite, I think he can win this fight.
GSP didn't really go out on top since the Hendricks decision was not clear cut. I still want to see GSP rematch Hendricks and fuck him up good... and do it post-USADA.

I'm excited to see if GSP really is going for the kill, rather than bullshitting like how he was going to fuck up Nick Diaz for being so disrespectful.

He's got to be jealous seeing Rory & Wonderboy handle tough opponents easily and finish some of them.

GSP was on a real PED testing program prior to Hendricks fight. I don't see what will really change for him.

Finishing Bisping seems like a real stretch. layoff. older. fighting bigger guy

the more I think about it the more I favor Bisping. I am starting to get excited about this fight. massive challenge for GSP
Yes, I agree, that part could be wolf tickets. Don't blink and all that. However, before fighting Koscheck, he said after this fight he would never have to hear about Koscheck again and look what he did to him. He was right.

I have the same concerns. Bisping is a tough SOB and GSP didnt look like a world beater in his last fight.

2nd champ champ in history incoming, imo.

Easily beats Bisping, easily beats WW castaway Whittaker, easily beats Woodley or any other WW.

Gonna be legendary, imo.

Rob the Reaper destroys him inside two rounds.

Bet on it.

If we didn't have paper, we'd all be walking around with poop all around our buttholes. Think about that a second.....
Not true , go to japan and see how they clean their ass

Someone please remind me how this discussion started with GSP's return and ended up with paper and wiping assholes.

They left him in charge of the day-to-day they did not leave him in charge of cutting checks. He must clear this with his bosses. A high school principal is in charge of the day-to-day, but they can't hire a new teacher for $200,000 a year.
We know that is not true because when Cruz was negotiating it was all Dana making decisions about cutting checks. GSP was not a new hire, he had an existing contract.
