Thoughts on Taylor Swift

I want to not like her, but it's a losing battle for me. She doesn't have a great voice, but she definitely has the it factor. She just knows how to make/sell catchy songs, regardless of how cheesy they are.
.

Does anybody actually write their own sings anymore?
Years ago it was only song writers and then artists started writing more of their own stuff. Now it’s hard to tell because rich artists make struggling writers include writing credit with sales so the singer can take credit for the writer’s work.

Not sure what you expect from pop stars but there's not much more to it than that. She's still a way better vocalist than someone like Halsey.

Telling yourself you "dont date black girls" might seem like simple preference to you but your modifying your own behavior to abide by these self imposed rules so yeah, that's pretty fuckin racist. Are you telling me that if you befriended a black girl at work that was otherwise your ideal chick you would still reject her because she was black?
Lol no that's not what I'm saying. Going all the way to kindergarten, I've never been physically attracted to the majority of black girls I've met. And vice versa.

And then from a cultural aspect, I wasn't raised around other blacks. I was raised by my white mother and only had contact with her side of the family. So as far as most black AND white people are concerned, I'm just not black enough.

So I get mixed reactions from both groups. So far all the girls I've dated have been white. I'd be open to dating girls of other races, but it hasn't happened. Most black girls I've met talk to me exactly once and then never seem interested again. I imagine because I "talk and act like a white guy"

And that's fine. I'm not really their type and they aren't mine. I could and would date a black girl I found attractive that doesn't think I'm "too white" but that scenario has never come up to date, and I'm 37.

And I don't think anyone is modifying their behavior when two people aren't attracted to eachother and don't have much in common. Attraction and chemistry tend to happen pretty organically.

I like her songs and she is a good person.

One of my wife’s best friends who’s a few years younger then her is absolutely obsessed with Taylor Swift. My wife’s friend is I think 37 and pretty hot and completely heterosexual but she says if she ever had a sexual experience with another female it would be with Taylor Swift lol. I think it’s hot as fuck.

I didn't realize that your wife knew my wife. Much less that they're best friends. LOL.
Seriously though, you could have just described my wife who's also a huge Taylor Swift fan. Although my wife has dated women in her past so although she's no longer a practicing bisexual she identifies as bi. Her attraction to Swift goes beyond the physical though.

Yeah, what is the deal with Taylor Swift? The girl definitely looks different. Maybe it is just the timing of the photo.
Her eyes are not the same anymore:

My girlfriend looks up to her and loves her music.....

Pop music is my favorite Genre and i can list off 30 more talented songwriters. Halsey can't sing for shit so that's a poor litmus.
You white guys who have a boner for Tay Tay just always change the goalposts
She has a genuine quality to her songwriting I think people appreciate, she can write a catchy tune and is really hot. What else can you ask for?

Thought she was just another basic white girl with a guitar who got lucky. But here she is again about to drop another album that will no doubt sell millions. You can't be 'basic' and have this type of longevity.

Not a huge fan of her music but she's a talented artist. And I especially like the fact that she's gotten a little thicc these last few years
