Thoughts on DC as Commentator?

I don't really care for it too much. Think Dominick Cruz worked better with Rogan/Goldie

I'd much rather just have Goldberg saying goofy shit and Rogan doing his usual thing

HBO has done this for ages. It is the best setup, IMO. If you just have 2 people, it's too easy for one guy to run roughshod. That's why Joe could go into these crazy emotional rants about Ronda. Goldberg isn't gonna say shit about it.

I'm fine with DC, he's doing well on the mic. He brings another perspective as an active fighter that Goldie and Joe can't provide.

Also, I wish people would understand the difference between a play-by-play and color commentator. They're two very different roles.

I think Daniel is fine... But I agree, I like Cruz a lot more. Cruz is genuinely a great commentator IMO, not just compared to the other fighters we see in the third chair.

Always thought he was a bit too hard for Miguel Torres (although he was a great fighter)
