Thoughts on a potential Jon Jones vs Mark Hunt fight?

I dont see jones taking that one. He had said a couple of weeks back he would take a hw fight but only if they weighed within 30lbs of him. Hunt can out weigh jones on fight night by 50 lbs easy.

What's the point of taking a heavyweight fight if you're putting a limit on how much heavier someone can be?

Yeah. But Jones would have one of the most pronounced reach advantages he has had so far. It would be a fun fight for sure.

Came here to say this and honestly it's not really tough to see that it's a smart decision. He is still gonna fight LHW for now so no reason to step near that 265 cut off

Eh. I don't think its that easy. Hunt is a 280lb cinderblock. He would need to wear him down first and potentially get a late sub in the 3 or 4th.

There is literally nothing Jones could hit Mark with that would hurt or even faze him. Would be Hunt vs Struve all over again except even easier.
