No need for a Grand Prix. If McGregor is done then Aldo vs Edgar is the only fight that makes sense. A Grand Prix would have only 4 other FWs in Aldo, Edgar, Mendes and Holloway. Holloway is a fight away and Mendes lost twice to Aldo and was just KO'd by Frankie. Winner gets the Interim belt and either unifies vs McGregor or defends vs Holloway.

I see Aldo, Edgar, Holloway, Swanson, Olivera, Doo Ho Choi, Makwan, Bektic, and maybe Mendes as a wild card all being available. Barao and some other fighters have mentioned making a move to FW.
