there's a theory that heimdall possesses the soul gem in his sword armour. evidence? he can feel the presence of everyone in the universe at will.

Yeah, I'm having second thoughts about in being in Mjlonir. The evidence for it being there includes the fact that Mjolnir can sense whether or not someone is worthy to lift it. But Odin placed that enchantment on it in the first Thor movie. Before he did, there is no indication that Mjlonir was able to read a person's soul. It appeared to simply be a very powerful weapon that anyone of sufficient physical strength could use.

Heimdall BEING the soul gem would mos def explain why they be Black people present in Scandi-heaven.

What kind of voice would you guys want to hear?

I'm not sure exactly. Hulk's voice in the Planet Hulk animated movie wasn't too bad. But not sure if it would sound good in a live movie.

It's an interesting consideration, isn't? How far does one go?

I used to think the bat-modulator should disguise Batman's voice to the point it sounded like a ransom-taker; and that's exactly what they did for BVS. I'm not sure how much it added or detracted.

For Hulk, or Professor Hulk, I considered the ultra low "ransom-taker," which is what Ang Lee used in the dream sequence (for me, in the only HULK movie that counts). Maybe that would be too funny after a while. Then I thought about Mark Ruffalo's own voice. Yes, it would be grossly at odds with his appearance but would we soon accept it because, after all, it IS the actor's own voice.

Right now I'm thinking a Clancy Brown or Ron Perlman type voice.

I don't care what anybody says this is still one of the best trailers of all time. Thor 3 is a copycat

^ I didn't even LIKE this song until this trailer. Now I love it.

That's actually a really good question. Lol. You would definitely have to go masculine.....Javier Bardem, was intimidating and powerful vocally in No Country for Old Men.....but I'm not sure he'd work. Who you think?

Probably waaaay off base here but...

The Soul Gem has not yet been shown in any MCU film. Could it be hidden in Mjlonir itself? That would account for the hammer's vast power. Perhaps Hela destroys Mjlonir not just to defeat Thor but to get at the Soul Gem inside.
The Soul Gem is in Heimdall's eyes. Both the gem and Heimdall's eyes are orange. Heimdall told Thor (I think in the 2nd movie) he can see all the souls in the 9 realms.

The vision Scarlett Witch made Thor see in Age of Ultron showed us a blind Heimdall. Looks like someone fucked with his eyes. Dun dun duuuuuun.

Maestro was simply awesome
Incidentally, Peter David -- who can't take a picture to save his life, nor write about his himself flatteringly -- is struggling financially. He was making some great money, and during his best year his wife drained half the bank account and used that money towards divorcing him. He used the other half on lawyer's. Thing is he never paid taxes on it, and IRS has come to collect. He opened a GoFundMe, and whether or not you believe his story, or how fiscally irresponsible he might be -- maybe his stories have provided you entertainment and fond imaginary memories, and maybe that means something.

You can find my ruminations a few posts prior to yours.

I get where you're going with Bardem, it's just that the idea of a professorial Hulk with a Spanish accent is something ... I'd really like to see. "I beleeb it is now time to, how do you say? Smash, I think it is? Yes. Yes."

That's the one. With some changes, it might make an interesting movie

Anything involving Future Imperfect or World War Hulk would make for fantastic movies. Heck I wouldn't mind seeing Hulk go up against the Red Hulk in a movie.

Wow, very unfortunate to hear

Damn!!.....I didn't know that. The man way too talented to have to do a Gofundme......I would think he could still get work off the strength of his past work.

Lol. I thought about that when I mentioned Javier. I mentioned NCFOM because he seemed to speak without his accent in it, but I see what you mean. Throw out an option
