Not watching the trailer, but I'm liking what I'm reading.
Yeah this is the last trailer I'm watching. If you liked Ragnarok this should be even better , seems like they let Waititi do his thing even more, and since we don't really have a clear clue what exactly the overarching goal Phase 4 is aiming for this feels more free.

Let's Go!!!!!
But really, one chick is enough.

Looks alright. Bale looking like Jared Nomak from Blade 2 and a little out of place. Hemsworth looking fucking jacked, probably because he was about to play Hulk Hogan next.

I liked Ragnarok for what it was, so hope this delivers as well.

Bale looks amazing.
Chris' physique is about average Sherdogger, which is impressive, i'm not saying its not.
But overall.... looks disjointed and convoluted esp given the run time. My expectations are very, very low.

I'm worried that it's short , that can be good and bad.

I'm guessing Thor gets killed (or retires) so he can be replaced by the chick, typical Phase 4 M-She-U business.

Zeus but no Hercules?

How on earth are we supposed to take Portman's character seriously? I have no issues with Female Thor, but she's literally the last person on the planet who should be cast in that role.

And why is Christian Bale's character reminiscent of the Harry potter dude? That's all I can see in that character.

Fat Thor training montage is played out already, I hope the comedy in this one doesn't try an out due Rangarok...that was already pushing the edge, but held the line in the end. We shall see. Still have high hopes despite the disappointing trailer.

I used to joke years ago that in the future they're probably going to be so strapped for creative content that they'll probably make a romance movie with Thor as the lead. Now there's even She-Hulk attorney at law.

Possibly Odinson to save both lady loves since might be Hemsworth's good bye from playing the character full time.
I am pretty sure there were news that Hemsworth signed huge contract a few years ago for multiple films, like 5 or 7 and this will be only his second movie. Plus Hemsworth himself said that this is not his last appearance as Thor and according to Waititi "I think a lot of fans are gonna potentially assume, ‘Oh, OK, this is the passing on of the torch’... I’m not privy to any plans Marvel has for the future, but I don’t think that’s the case."

That would be great, I remember Hemsworth being asked around Infinity War/EndGame time how much longer he would want to play Thor and his response was along the lines of "As much as I can" or some such. Seems like he enjoys playing the role and appreciates the work (especially the paychecks, no doubt). Much more refreshing from most actors who "get tired" of their steady role of a character and who "want to do other things" and/or "not get typecast" finally a brother who appreciates his incredible fortune.

I just don't trust the M-She-U.

Wasn't the first Thor about him falling in love with Portman? I don't remember it much cause I hated it but I thought that was part of the movie.

I think it was a side plot like most movies have a love story tacked in. I recall it was more about introducing alternate worlds to the Marvel Universe. They thought all superheroes should have a Mary Jane.
