TBH, and I know this is a teaser-trailer, but I think we're all just thirsty for this to drop because that kind of sucked, imho.
And Sweet Child O' Mine is a terrible song to get hype. Anybody notice lately that movies are just trying to fill themselves up w/ great songs regardless of the movie context?
I have found it to be annoying.

colossus is the biggest can in all of comic books. He sucks and never wins a fight. He’s been the Xmens whipping boy for as long as I can remember. And if that wasn’t bad enough he was jobbed out in the movies to make his fighting history even worse.

Juggernaut has power levels way above him.
I don't get this complaint tbh?

I don't want to see every power character to be Hulk level as that would get boring.

Just speaking to physical prowess only...

Hulk/Thor > Juggernaut > The Thing > Colossus/She Hulk > Spiderman/Luke Cage > Captain America

(ohh and all my rankings are from 70's-80's comics. I think post that most comic book characters all went UBER versions, such as Hulk punching holes in reality, etc. In my age hulk tossing a tank, was a good feat of strength)

I thought this was a perfect fit. Sweet Child was originally a poem meant for Axl's GF, so I see that translating to Thor's love for Portman, Thor's love for life returning, Thor's love for Mjolner that returns (although to Jane), or any just straight love being shown for being alive after all that shit he went through.

Trailer looked badass BTW. Portman will make a great Thor, and even better if Chris is close by still.

Also, Jane Thor's helmet looks amazing. Is that a real helmet or CGI?

Meh, I hate this new comedic route. Yes the first two movies weren't that great but why did they have to turn everything into a punchline? Didn't love Ragnarok like everyone else did, thought the end of the world would be taken a bit more seriously. This movie is going to double down on all the humor and I'm afraid Thor will come across as a joke character while Natalie Portman will be a Mary Sue. I really hope I'm wrong with this opinion.

Like it or not, it is what sells to the masses. Kids might take to the less comedic, darker comic stuff but I doubt women would have been so drawn in to this universe without all the humour breaks.

Of course Marvel should keep some room for some titles to play on the darker side but generally speaking the Main MCU universe is more of a fun house ride, than any type of character expose, like it or not.

And its not like the other stuff has not been tried...

Ragnarok is one of my top 3 MCU movies, if this movie resembles that it should be awesome. Thor is also one of my favourite Superheroes so I'll definitely be checking this out. They better play this song too in the movie:

I like the Idea of Asgardians being so Old that chance encounters like that would be a long forgotten memory.

That’s really the crux of the whole arch. Gorr is pissed because gods DGAF about mortals. Thor is actually saved by the band of Vikings from Gorr(who killed a number of them) and thousands of years later he asks Thor if he even remembers them. Thor of course, doesnt — but Gorr does. It’s a wonderful juxtaposition.

Gorr is a the GOAT modern villain. Villains are tough to just introduce in the modern age and Gorr nails it.

Gorr wields the Necro sword or “All-Black Sword” which he got accidentally while happening upon a god who was recently killed by another god by it.

Gorrs whole family dies of starvation while praying to the gods for aide. When no aide comes he’s the last of his people and once he gets the sword he travels the cosmos killing any god he can find.

Alternate universe Jane or the same one, you think?

With wielding the broken hammer I think same universe. Guess is she finds the pieces and somehow puts it back together.

If Sony wasn't retarded, Gorrs introduction could be used to introduce Knull , since the All Black Sword actually belongs to Knull , although Sony would have to give up control of the Symbiotes to Marvel.

Didn't love the song choice. Excited about everything else.

I do hope they don't over do the comedy, almost did in ragnarok but somehow it worked. This one it feels a little more forced.

Still, looks great, thor and guardians have great chemistry, can't wait!
