Thomson betting favorite over Rory. Do you agree with that?

Of course wonderboy had that great performance against Hendricks. I feel Rory will hold his own on the feet and very probably get him down at some point and do serious damage/finish.

I think what you think and I suppose it's the "recency bias" that made Thompson a betting favourite. Yes, Thompson beat Hendricks, but Rory was four minutes away from beating Robbie Lawler and 1 minute away from beating Carlos Condit (at worst it would've been a draw). He also beat Tyron Woodley who's challenging the title and Demian Maia who's as close to it as it gets. Do I need to go into technical details of the specific style match-up?

I'd take Rory before the Robbie fight. I'm avoiding it now. Don't like taking fighters after taking a brutal beating like Rory took. Always worried they won't be th same fighter when they return

They're both great. All the odds should be close to 50/50, anything too far off is hater-ade.

It's "what you've done for me lately". Thomson is the betting favorite because lately he destroyed Hendricks who gave Lawler 2 really tough controversial decisions, and Lawler finished Rory the last the he fought.

Hopefully Rory loses badly, gets a crap offer from the UFC, becomes a bitter free agent and trashes the UFC every chance he gets. Would be some good drama.

hard fight to call I think hendricks fight has a lot to do with the style match up personally... hendricks has zero range as a striker he is compact and one demensional thats not enough to test wonderboy on the feet, and he wasnt hitting any take downs, thats an easy night for wonderboy... Rory works a very different striking game has a more similar body type I still see wonderboy coming out on top here but I think this fight will be much less one sided

I got Rory in this fight. It's a tough matchup though so I could see why Thompson would be the favourite. Based on their last fights, Thompson has a lot of momentum going into this.
