So the argument is, 'he wants to lose to Diaz, so he doesn't lose to Edgar' and this makes sense to people?

Even with a loss, he's still a big name that can earn millions of dollars a year in his 20's.

He is unlikely to pull the same numbers if he loses badly again, but there would be no reason to retire.
 
Don't think so, but lets just say for the sake of argument its true, good for him, he would have owned the fight game in 3 years time and got rich off it and got the fuck out before suffering any long term damage.
 
Fuck this rematch bullshit. I hope Nate tears him up even worse this time, and in fact I'm expecting it, though it might take a little longer.
