UFC matchmakers threw dung at the fight tracker, which came up with this card.
You can't possibly think that people are complaining about the results of fights that haven't happened yet.
They're complaining about the UFC putting out non-PPV events that look like regional fight promotions and PPV cards with less elite fighters than ever. This is a perfectly valid thing for people to complain about, especially when this mediocre direction is something the UFC is actively pursuing.
Cards always have the potential to be exciting because underpaid fighters are putting everything on the line to make up for the UFC's shitty matchmaking, but that doesn't excuse the way cards are being put together.
We're seeing more and more of these complaints and it's not because people are whiners, it's because the UFC's product is getting worse.
Spivac and Tybura ain't too shabby. With Javid Basharat vs Chris Gutierrez off, is this the worst UFC card ever?
There isn't even any young prospects like other ones..

It's a free card basically. Compared to the state of boxing, this is PPV worthy.
Terence Crawford's 79.99 affair this past weekend had a narcolepsy inducing undercard.
Then we have this stinker coming up. Probably another 80 dollar waste. Canelo is a -1400 favorite!

MMA is positively healthy compared to how putrid boxeo has become.
No one is saying the fights are going to be boring. They are saying it's uninteresting regardless. Hence why people even watch ufc in the first place instead of random free mma. It's not hard to graspSo we're going to do this every month, eh? You guys aren't tired of this shit yet? Don't tune in. That simple.
You guys whined for weeks about the Jandiroba/Lemos card and it ended up being one of the most exciting cards of the last few months.
There's zero way to know the quality of the card before it happens, especially if you're more concerned with matchups instead of name value. If you're worried you're going to waste your time after looking at a card and deem it not worth it, wait until it's over, look at which fights you should watch, and look for or fire up a replay rather than cry about it online?
I wish people would look at Fight Night cards more realistically as they are free - they're for prospects, aging veterans, those without name value and to give the fighters that provide depth who may become gatekeepers, journeymen or even top fighters an opportunity to fight, improve and prove themselves.
Every great once in a while we'll get a stacked one. And sometimes, like it Saturday for example, it doesn't entirely deliver. Yet, the 'w0rsT c4rD 0f aL1 t1m3' in Jandiroba/Lemos did. Can we at least wait for the card to happen before we shit on the quality of it?
So that then made it interesting in hindsight? The Jandiroba card turned out badass tho

Tybura vs SpivacThey're complaining to complain. Just don't tune in. FN cards lacking names is not new. Neither is the whining.
For the most part, the UFC has done a good job putting on some stacked cards this year with one or two great Fight Nights. If they have lesser than type of cards which are free on ESPN filled with journeymen and prospects, that's fine, as long as we're getting big PPVs and a few big Fight Nights mixed in. We are.
Between TUF, DWCS, PPVs and FNs, MMA has never been more available to watch. If we get some cards that aren't great on paper, so be it. It's much better than the alternative, in my opinion.
Because the shitty cards happen every week. Even the ppv's are watered down because of itAnd I'm saying the whining is fucking tired as our happens every week, and if you're not interested, don't tune in. Them having lesser than type cards with their schedule and how stacked some of the other cards have been makes sense.
We'll just have to agree to disagree. They're complaining to complain. Just don't tune in. FN cards lacking names is not new. Neither is the whining.
