Do you think that Khabib can beat Floyd in an MMA fight? If your answer is yes, easily, then how come he won't catch him coming in for a take down? Yet, Conor will catch him somehow? Is Conor a better boxer than Floyd, no! Would he stop Khabib's take downs, no!

So, explain to me what can Conor do to Khabib besides catching him with a left? This should put an end to Conor beating Khabib bs, because Floyd has a better chance of catching Khabib than Conor. After the take downs, both Conor and Floyd will be like turtles on its back.

So can you Conor fans explain why would Khabib beat Floyd easily but not Conor?

I am far from a Conor fan, but this thread us silly. For one McGregor has KO power. Mayweather does not.

Also, McGregor has been working on takedown defense for years. Mayweather has not.

Now do I think McGregor would be able to stuff the TD and get the KO? No, I think Khabib would ragdoll him.

But obviously McGregor has a better chance than Mayweather.

Because McGregor has stuffed over 73% of takedowns attempted on him. Mayweather has stuffed 0% of takedowns attempted on him.

Take a traditional boxing stance and protect yourself. Now throw a kick while maintaining that stance. Now defend a takedown with your hands up on your face. See how much harder it is? Especially fighters who are afraid of takedowns have to fight with their hands down low to counter TD attempts, so a pure boxer would be in deep deep trouble not knowing this type of a boxing technique.

On top of that the gloves are way smaller so you can't hide behind them so walking someone down while protecting your face becomes virtually impossible.
