i keep getting pop ups from this site and my anti virus keeps blocking it over and over.
this site is infected with trojan virus.

It's been like that basically as long as I can remember. I was literally unable to browse sherdog on my phone without constant redirects for a couple years at one point. I heard plat accounts don't get the spam, and asked for and recieved a free plat upgrade. Ever since I don't get any of that crap anymore. It seems like there should be another option though. Even adblock doesn't filter all of it.

What phone do you use? If you're using an Android phone, download the Bromite browser. t's a reconfigured Chrome browser. You gotta go to their site on your phone, and install manually, though. It's not on the Play Store.

It's weird as fuck because my phone never used to redirect. Now it does it all the time. The weird thing is I'll go weeks without being redirected then one day I can't even get on through mobile without being redirected. It's really random.

Yeah my experience was the same. It would go away so long I'd think it was fixed. Then be completely unable to browse for weeks at a time. Turns out the sidebar stuff that pops up is malware too and isn't supposed to be there.
I love sherdog but it's more virus ridden than the majority of porn sites, which is just crazy. I've been in enough support threads over the years to know the mods and admins can't fix it, and the site owners don't seem to care. Bizarre because it must hurt traffic. If I wasn't a regular I would have just given up on the site more than once. I got too many friends here and most other mma sites suck imo

Me too, I got redirected to a phising site. Ads are one thing but that's fucking atrocious. I try not to complain about ads because I used this site for free for many years before my first plat account subscription purchase, but this isn't an ad. It's a malicious website.
Sherdog sure as hell isn't getting any more money from me until this is fixed for good. @Lead, not your bailiwick, I know, but if you're wondering why I haven're renewed my plat.....

It all started when they merged the .net and .com
The forums used to be separate and ran really well for the most part. There should be zero adds allowed in the forum imo. Not one person coming to this forum is going to run out and buy a product because it redirected them away from the site they sat down to log in to. If anything, harassing people and pissing them off is a sure fire way to make sure they’ll never do business with you.
