Jones blew it... Despite DC never having a win over him, he closes this rivalry as the victor. Daniel Cormier won man... He.. Won.

they still might fight again. something tells me the wheels will somehow be greased and jones will be fighting again sooner rather than later. he's one of the cash cows now and they've got billions. guess we'll see.

Doesn't matter. The rivalry is over now, and Daniel walked out of it with the real championship on his shoulder, HEADLINING in the biggest card ever,while Jones' career is up in flames.

Not necessarily, but I guess it does for now. If Jones is out for years, then DC might be retired by then, so it could close the book. But too early to say.

How do you grease wheels? You mean Nevada Athletic Commission and UDADA?
 
If Jones receive a 2years suspensions yes,its kinda over, i doubt he will ever return as the same goat fighter. Also DC probably will be on the decline

not sure exactly how it would happen, but sentences can get overturned, deals made, that kind of thing. my guess is that they throw the book at him at first, maybe something even as drastic as a ban, and then a year from now it suddenly comes out that his sentence has been commuted.

like I said, billions to throw around and they desperately need him. people may say "no the commission is god and nothing will be changed" but no one knows what will happen until it happens.
