We just saw Whittaker barely survive without ever hurting Romero as bad, but somehow he left the cage with a win and a belt around his waist.
That's a waste of too many people's time.
A scoring system must serve the purpose of rewarding who fought the best - not only on numbers, but also considering the quality of the fight. Merely comparing minutes of activity is not "objective" judging, it's just a free pass for stupidity. If Romero didn't deserve a single 10-8 tonight, then there is no use for it at all.
