5 different positive drug tests and the UFC are sweeping it all under the rug, and essentially giving him a pass to dope all he wants.
He wins the fight against Gustafsson on rocket fuel and they're already trying to tout how great he is again.. okay he is a top fighter but its not like it was a fair fight out there.. alex was at a disadvantage before he even stepped in the cage.. Do you wanna see a guy come out with a baseball bat and knock 10 bells out of their oppt? Maybe once or twice, but eventually you wanna see the one that's been stepped on pick up a bat and start swinging. But that's never gonna be allowed to happen
And USADA is still going to drug test fighters and make believe that this is something legitimate ... CRAZY
There will be an ESPN documentary about this in about 10-15 years and people will look back in disbelief and talk about how corrupt the UFC is/was.
Quitter?C'mon quitter. Help us out. Gotta get rid of those Irish balls from that gullet eventually.
Every time I read one of these threads, it tells me how little people actually know about steroids in general. Without getting into the whole science of it, all steroids do, is allows your muscles to recovery faster than normal, so that you can work out longer and harder without any "muscle fatigue". When you work out, gradually, your muscles become inflamed due to the build up of lactic acid. Steroids allow the inflamation of the muscle to recover faster by absorbing water into the muscle at a higher rate than normal.
Steroids isn't some magical cure-all that makes you fight better. It isn't some magical substance that makes you more skilled. It isn't some magical substance that suddenly gives you muscle. It just makes muscle easier to build due to the ability to work out longer and harder without fatigue. You still have to put in the training, you still have to put in the gym time, you still have to put in the time to train your skills, and your strategy. They do not make you more durable/less susceptible to any particular techniques. They do not give you a better chin.
That being said, if Jon Jones reingested then he reingested and should be suspended appropriately. If he didn't, and it wasn't a new reingestion like USADA is claiming, then at the hearing in January, USADA and Jon Jones will have their say during the evidence hearing that the NAC has set up to hear this out since the NAC didn't have enough time to analyze the data like they wanted.
