This is literally the most boring commentary duo ever

Totally agree. I noticed the commentary right away, it's shockingly terrible. I enjoy good commentary while watching a fight. I love classic Joe/Goldie, you could feel their emotions. The best duo now is easily Cormier/Rogan. They have great chemistry.

I like that Combo as well. But I actually loved Cruz and Cormier with Anik. That was fantastically deep insight, it made every fight a joy to watch because they made it a learning experience. Joe is a bit superficial, and Cruz doesn't work well with someone spewing banalities.

we have jimmy smith now, rogan can retire
Jimmy Smith is eerily similar to Rogan.

It will be a smooth transition when Rogan does retire.

I'd listen to these two over Cruz any day.

This is shocking to me. You can hate the guy, but the quality of what comes out of his mouth is consistently rigorous and informative. This drivel we are listening to is superficial and stale.

You must have brain damage. Cruz is the deepest analyst in the game, even if he's douchey as Hell.

These guys are boring and utterly uninteresting analytically.
Different strokes for different folks bud

I thought Ludwig sounded pretty decent the first time I heard him. I don't remember who the main announcer was, but it sure wasn't this guy.

Honestly, I can't think of a worse combination of commentators. TS knows.

Good commentary is a great thing to witness. Last week's was the best I've ever heard. I was very impressed.

Was working last Saturday night so I missed it and can't comment, but I think commentary is one of the last things I walk away from in awe of or impressed by after watching a bunch of MMA fights.

I agree he has phenomenal knowledge but I can't stand the guy and even when hes totally right I want to disagree bc hes a penisbutt.

That sounds insecure to me. He is a cocky arrogant competitive douchebag, but it doesn't get to me. He's also really smart, and is probably overall the best analyst doing commentary. Which makes sense, since he is one of the best fighters in the world, and the best to ever do commentary.

I already know what's going on technically in the fight, I want that excited man in the room. I'd rather have Rogan and his inaccuracies over Cruz and his boring strategy talk.

Mine too, except when it is abominably bad, like tonight, or exceptionally good, like last week.

I think it's an interesting thing since they have been trying new teams lately.

I like Felder but the other guy sucks.

If you are that informed in the sport I presume you must train. Otherwise I call bullshit.

I have a blue belt in BJJ and have done some boxing, and have watched MMA since 2000, and I learn everytime Cruz breaks down a fight live.
