This is how Mike Perry vs Michael Jai White fight would go

I have come to understand these threads as a cultural gap to a country loosing its grip on reality with its focus on actor celebrities and all their delusions. Now its even changing to IG "celebrities" were the whole skill is making photoshopped pictures. It is not about skill anymore but pretending and media representation alone. It started with Bruce Lee , then the 80s (I LOVE the 80s) and so on.

It created a distortion from reality best seen in these fake tough guys. And as everyone sucks up to them they themselves feel validated.

Understanding this as a cultural trend is quite frightening as people take political advice from groups without any competence. The Kardashian effect. Its a sad development in dumbing down a whole country and it continues to get worse. The dominance of post modernism were it is not about skill or understanding.

reminds me of the Chinese masters who destroy 10 men with Kung fu in the movies, in real life it's different.<Dany07>

all this garbage that happened in the movies is fake, we need to separate fiction from reality.

Perry would humiliate the fake fighter in a real fight.

I've always said it and I'll say it again. Mike Perry kills MJW. It wouldn't be easy perse, but Mike would make it nasty probably take some shots, take him down and gnp him to the death. And that's if MJW doesn't get shook on the feet by some haymaker before. It would be some great black-on-black crime that's for sure.

I stopped reading at: Mike Perry relies on speed.

How ludicrous.

Lol at fat slobs calling MJM who’s a life long experienced martial artiest in many arts just an actor.

However, in a cage against a younger fighter, I just don’t know. If MJM had experience in a cage then he has many tools but it’s a different dynamic with hard shots swinging at you if you’ve never been on there.

Perry is a very sloppy and basic fighter. Basic boxing/brawler that relies on speed and power when he fights. Kinda like the guy in this video.

MJW is like a more explosive bigger wonderboy thompson.

if mike perry fights MJW, i have a feeling he would shoot for a takedown because he can’t win the standup. But he’s gonna be in for a rude surprise when he thinks taking someone 40-50lbs heavier and much taller feels like.

i legit think if MJW and perry had a real fight that perry would lose.

Just woke up from a dream where Mike Perry took a last minute fight (like 2 days' short notice) and lost a close decision to a new guy. It's wild that this is one of the first threads that pops up after literal weeks on not seeing anything Mike Perry related on the homepage.

I think the universe is trying to tell me something... like I watch too much MMA if it's finding its way in my dreams now.

he's as legit as Steven Seagal, I don't understand how MMA fighters endure this fake man talking nonsense he never fought in the cage.

Mike rip his head off.

Even my cousin who is Wrestler D1 can butcher this actor.

is that the movie where he says boxers only need wraps and gloves because they don't know how to punch right but Karate fighters do?

baseless opinion. The correct answer is we just don’t know.

This world does not need more black on black violence.

That said, actual UFC fighter Platinum Mike by KO over fake fighter/aging actor

Mike Perry admitted that Jake Paul kicked his ass. I'm sure a life long martial artist with like 50 lbs of muscle would have no problem with MIKE PERRY.

I'm sure plenty of UFC fighters would destroy MJW but Mike perry ain't the guy. Before acting, MJW was a street fighter and has been shot multiple times. He just doesn't act like a jackass like perry, he actually matured and dedicated his entire life to martial arts. He found a way to get paid from displaying techniques in movies rather than gettin paid peanuts for brain damage.

The hate Michael J. White gets on here is crazy. He was a mixed martial artist before it was popular and has trained with ufc and boxing champions(former champs as well) for decades.

I'm for damn sure you can learn much more about martial arts from MJW than MIKE PERRY. It's pretty obvious unless you're some fatass that has never trained in their life and lives through PERRY of all ppl. The technique speaks for itself.

But yea, the false narrative on here is he is just an actor. Many fighters that have trained with him have said he has legit skills but you shertards can't accept it.

Lol no. Dude is a joke and legend in his own mind. Most people don’t even know who he is. I’d take him against your average bum fight contender, but against a real fighter lololololololololololol. Has he even eaten an actual punch in his life? Oh wait I forgot he outstruck Jones lol

He was a street fighter before acting and has been shot multiple times.. I'm sure he can take a punch. He was shot during a street fight twice. But yea, let's think perry can kick everyone's ass who's not in the UFC regardless of their martial arts discipline. MIKE PERRY of all ppl...smh

Michael J. White is a martial artist who acts, not the other way around.

I think you're overanalyzing it. People acting tough and telling "biggest fish" stories have been around since forever. Only difference is with the internet and social media you're now exposed to everyone's dumb opinions daily.

Listen to the dude in an interview, he speaks as if he is an unbeatable god, he tells stories about sparring Jon Jones and implying he won lol. Yes he has a traditional martial arts background, has a lot of flashy movie type of moves, and is a ginormous roided up freak athlete… but he has zero credibility outside of that as anything other than an actor. If he is so dedicated to fighting why doesn’t he train at BJJ/MMA gyms? Really weird he has no videos of actually rolling, or fighting anyone. Even Joe Rogan is more legit than him lol.
So he's a legit martial artist who highly overrates himself?

... that's like half the UFC roster if they didn't compete
