He is a beast! I know they are already calling him that but I will personally acknowledge that Lesnar is a special kind of athlete that can overcome insurmountable disadvantages. This about it. Brock Lesnar hasn't fought in nearly 5 years. Mark Hunt is an active Heavyweight, ranked in the top 10 with knockout power and a good takedown defense. This is stylistically a bad matchup for Lesnar and the layoff isn't doing him any favors.
If he wins I might even say that diverticulitis was a major contributing factor to his losses to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem. Make no mistake, Brock Lesnar has weaknesses. Panicking and folding when you get hit is a psychological problem that stems from Lesnar coming from a wrestling background, not sparring hard enough in the gym and not getting used to being hit. But maybe now that he is healthy he can put the illness behind him.

I personally predict that he is going to lose. I just don't see him holding Hunt down and keeping him down to utilize his wrestling and ground and pound. He could submit Hunt but more likely I think that Lesnar is going to try to set up the takedown with strikes, fail in his attempts and get blasted on the chin then drop and turtle for a 1st Round TKO victory for Mark Hunt. But IF he somehow wins he really is The Beast Incarnate.

you used a lot of words to say it, but I agree. Look for takedown, get stuffed, get hit, turtle up, tko for Hunt, back to WWE for Brock.

What does this fight have to do with his fights with Cain and Ubereem?

Dudes got balls. Going up against Hunt after not fighting for nearly 5 years

Jesus this guy announces a comeback and everyone praises him as if he's earned a spot in the top 10

Won't be surprised if Lesnar is able to stop hunt on the ground. But I see a walk off uppercut for hunt.

Hunt tko.. Lots of respect for Lesnar though!! Takes balls don't care who it is.

Brock deserves respect for taking this fight. Hunt is a heavy hitter and Lesnar, as we've seen isn't the best at taking punches. He also deserves respect for coming in off a 5yr hiatus and fighting a Top 10 fighter. Win or lose, I respect Brock for taking this fight

He is a special athlete, And really giftet. Except maybe Sapp And Randleman, we have never seen an athlete like this in MMA.

However, the UFC HW division is very different from Randy, Mir And part time fighter Carwin. Brock already tested this HW division with Cain And Overeem.

...even with the steroid exception, I will be very surprised if this fight is competitive. He is still a great athlete.
