That side think he does. It's great.
There's something really demeaning about turning to the side and not even making eye contact with the opponent. It's like saying "you don't even matter, you're just another piece of this picture to me". Plus eye contact is kinda overstated in these face offs nowadays. .

Just wanted to share.
Love you

True. People use to use it against him like he was intimidated but it's the opposite. He doesn't even want to acknowledge them. Fedor was similar in his face offs. Just looking through or past people like they weren't even there. It's a stoic approach to face-offs. It's very different from the people that can't make contact because they are all wound up and shakey, that's from people intimidated. Jones and Fedor are calm and just chillin. Completely different vibe. It's like they are just waiting to turn the switch on.

He doesn't do it during weigh ins or press conferences but Jose Aldo always had his down during the faceoff in the octagon.

Surprised this isn't a psychological breakdown about how Jon's lack of eye contact proves he's a classic Narcissist/Sociopath

What would the internet be without its armchair psychologists?

And fighters should always really care what their opponent thinks about themself in relation to you.

I miss Jones...actually fighting. Enough criminal Jones already...gonna be hard for Jon to be running around fighting crime with the Albuquerque police department after this one, I mean, this one again, Oh and again... faaaaaak. Bet you wished you had signed that contract now huh Jon! I genuinely hope you get another chance to sign one.
