This Francis Hype Is Too Much

I think we ain't seen nothing yet.

The UFC are really gonna try to pump him up now.

Half of sherdog will hate him within a year.

Lol anyone who thinks Ngannou is anything special is a casual buying the latest UFC Narrative... this was essentially handed to him on a platter: He beat a washed up decrepit Stipe now all of a sudden the holes in his game are nonexistent...

I picked Ngannou to get it done early for this same reason.

You said that would be his strategy but did you actually pick him???
Shaddap everyone was sucking stipes dick about how he was the GOAT before tonight, now he's washed up lmao. Gane looks like a scrub and rozenstruik already got murdered by ngannou.

Derek Lewis is the only fighter in the division ngannou hasn't already hate crimed in a round lol

Also do you REALLY wanna see a stipe rematch? He can't take him down and clearly can't out strike him. I honestly feel bad for stipe after not liking him AT ALL during his reign, but he got shit on tonight and the sport is ready to sweep him under the rug. I hope he made a lot of money because I dont think he has shit left for a young monster like ngannou and who else in the division really makes sense?

I could see him fighting gane for the #1 contender after Lewis vs ngannou rematch but other than that it just feels like he should go out on a win and hang it up, he's had a rough few years. Showed an amazing chin tonight tho

I agree with some of these points but I wholeheartedly disagree with you saying Cyril looked like a scrub.

The Ngannou hype started years ago and now it's like he never lost.

Other than Jones, BB, Volkov might be his biggest threat at this point. Just goes to show the shallowness of the HW division.
I’d like to see him face Volkov. Volkov looked huge in his last fight. And he’d have a range advantage.

He may not be able to one shot KO Francis. But if he can keep distance with push kicks and land a half dozen heavy jabs on Ngannou. He can start to chip away at him.

He’s as good a chance as anyone else.

lol you are hilarious , if he’s nothing special than why has he beaten almost everyone in the HW division. Beaten strikers (rozenstruick) and wrestlers (blaydes) and well rounded HWs (miocic) in his latest run. You are just one of those snowflakes hipster type who likes to call people casuals to fill himself into thinking he is some sort of expert.

also WAND is overrated , Japanese can crusher .

Hey, I'm just saying that IF someone is going to shit on Stipe's wins, it also reflects badly on N'Gannou since he has many in common with Miocic
(except 3 years layoff Cain for Francis, and DC trilogy for Stipe).

Plus Francis beat JDS in 2019, while Stipe beat him in 2017.
Then Overeem in December 2017, against 2016.
And Arlovski in Jan 2017, against Jan 2016.

Stipe fought the fresher versions of these guys, so saying stuff like

is not a good look for Francis.

And most importantly, Stipe won against N'Gannou in Jan 2018, before Miocic went on to fight DC 3 times in a row, taking a lot of damages in the first 2 fights (Cormier won the first 2 rounds of their second fight, and arguably the 3rd, before losing in the 4th).
Then in 2021, Francis beat Miocic in the rematch.

That's not what I'm saying, my money was on Stipe this fight, but the nitpicking I did could become the consensus if N'Gannou loses the rematch to Black Beast :(

And sure I'l like to see Miocic vs Francis 3, but only after Stipe wins a couple fights without taking too much damage (I'd like to see Ngannou to first smash Derek Lewis of course), just to show that he's still got it.

They both beat corpses, also stipe is 1-1 with JDS when he had a shred of prime left he gave Stipe all he could handle.

I give Stipe (and Ngannou) props for being the only guy(s) in the division to be able to string together those wins but objectively speaking they both mauled corpses.

Credit where it's due Ngannou beat fresh fighters like Rozenstruik and Blaydes (twice) and Stipes wins over DC is better than anything on Ngannou's resume (other than the stipe win obv).
But in all reality there's no denying the geriatric state of the division.

Stipe is a very solid fighter who does alot of things well but he clearly benefitted from being the guy with less mileage, tonight we saw him being the shopworn veteran who just couldn't hold up to the power of a younger guy.

Stipe got dropped tonight the same way as every other time in his career: he squared up and lead with his chin. This time there was just a fresh enough fighter to capitalize on it and he simply couldn't hold up after the years of wars he's been in.

Stipe has always had great recovery but I'd have to think those flaws would be exploited in a younger division, exactly like JDS did to him in their first fight when he got knocked down the same way he did tonight.

CHRIS Daukaus kills dis bum division inclusive of B'Mmgannou

Very strange that a guy who'd just had a fight and then had the adrenaline of becoming heavyweight champion of the world would look tired, I agree.

Good call TS.

Gane Chin hasn’t been overly tested in mma from what I see ....I’d say Francis has best chin
