Belal, Shavkat, and Burns(after he beats Masvidal) all deserve the title shot more than Colby.
This forum is going to be intolerable if they give Colby a title shot.

I don't ever read "predicted buys," so I don't know how often they are exaggerations, but the ones I saw for Edwards this Saturday were from 850k-1mil buys.
If it's anywhere near that ballpark, I think Edwards will do just fine

They were attempting to argue that Adesanya's defensive grappling is better than Leon Edwards'.
Their argument was that Blachowicz is a better offensive wrestler than Usman is and that's why he was able to outwrestle Izzy and keep him down when he got him to the floor, along with having a size advantage.
One of them I'm not familiar with. The other is a long time poster on here that I've seen around for years. Used to be a big GSP but hugger but these days he's more known to he a Khamzat fanboy.

I mean yes its true but the truth is Colby doesn't deserve the shot.
People don't want Colby to get the title shot, because he acts like an asshole that sports a Trump hat. They don't want him to get the shot, because of feelings. Meanwhile he's ranked number 2 and did a training camp and a weight cut as an alternate for the last WW title fight.
There are other people in the mix, but it's not unreasonable for him to be next in line. Plus this is prize fighting and he has the ability to put butts in seats. I'm honestly indifferent to whether he gets the fight or not; but the cunt in me wants him to get it so I can read all of the butt-hurt Sherdog posts
I don’t want Covington to have a titleshot.
I don’t care if he supports Trump or whoever.
Fighters that don’t fight and cherry pick their opponents should never be rewarded. Real competition should be rewarded.
It’s because of feelings. These feelings are not about him as a person. I don’t feel good about fighters who try to talk their way into fights instead of proving and earning it with performances. That’s what ‘hurts’ my feelings.

Let colby have his fight, he's a promotional work horse that can actually make a quite softspoken guy (who's fights are also generally very borring) a somewhat interesting event. IF colby loses that is it for him, probably forever.
I've been in your position before, but for fights that are actually worth complaining about. (colby vs leon is not one of those fights)

Shavkat: Very dangerous, relatively unknown, wont draw because people dont know him yet, hasn't head lined a fight night, hasn't had a 5 round fight, never even co-mained a ppv
Belal: A boring fighter most fans dont like, Wouldn't draw a dime. Coming off of wins though.
Colby: Just headlined a non title fight PPV, lesser version of the fighter you just beat twice, Best active ppv draw available, Top 5 fighter multiple time title challenger, coming off of a win. He has also already begun promoting the fight to guarantee both you and him more money.
It's a no brainer. You wouldn't want to risk losing your title to a no name like shavkat (who is an amazing fighter and will fight for the title with his next 2 wins) Belal wont make you any money and stylistically is similar to colby. so why not just pick colby?

I don’t know about intolerable I always find this place the most hilarious/entertaining in the aftermath of a controversial fighter winning or losing a big fight
Colby is ready to fight right now. Leon Edwards took no damage, so he should be ready soon. Why wait for other fights to occur when you can make the title fight now?
