This fighter is the next *all time great* FAILS

He'll be 29 in July, and he's already had 57 kickboxing matches.
Like I said, his ceiling probably isn't going to be as high, but he's certainly young enough to adapt well to MMA.

I love Adesanya but who the fuck was calling him the next Jon Jones?

They have like nothing in common except being skinny black guys
They actually resemble in the face when Israel has in his mouthpiece in. I think his qualms with being compared to Jones are silly considering they possess plenty of physical similarities. Besides just being black, sjw's.

Erick Silva is just a kid.
Now Sage Northcutt is a Dana White "looking for a fight" hype job.

People saying Machida was a all time fail is just dumb.Fighting for the belt and becoming the champ is not failing.Yes he had all the Machida era hype and lost to Shogun in the rematch but so what he did what a lot of other fighters can never say they did and that is a UFC LHW champ. Also fought for the MW belt and was competitive in that fight. No way he should be mentioned in all time great fails.

I can think of a certain Irishman who became a 2-division champ and was touted as a potential GOAT but was stripped of both belts without ever defending either of them.

In fact, if I remember correctly, he's been defeated in another sport and arrested for acting like a hooligan more times than he's fought in the UFC since those "glory days".

Damn he’s been fighting too infrequently people are completely forgetting his game
I've watched a few of his kickboxing bouts. He's damn good. He might be reaching his ceiling in MMA though. I hope not.

Brandon Vera is going to become two division champ after beating Mir.

Even though he is an all time great, and one of my favorite fighters of all time, I'd say Shogun. After he won the MWGP in 2005 I though he was going to be THE man at 205 for at least 5 years. He was so talented, and only 23.

Despite his successes, he was never the same after the Coleman arm break, imo.

And, obviously, his UFC career wasn't what it could have been.

I remember before Mike Ricci got in the ufc when he fought Pat Curran they were saying he was like the next GSP. Then he got KO'd and took his first pro loss.

Erik "Forever Young" Silva
Houston "4 Real" Alexander
The Machida Era (Including 1 robbery title defense before getting ktfo)
Cain "Leap Year" Velasquez
Yair, Almeida, soon to be Zabit

Hahaha, those are some solid nicknames, well done.

Pete Spratt beat Robbie Lawler and was offered a title shot against Hughes. He turned it down. He was pretty hyped after beating Lawler. Back in the day.

he had no ground game so he said fuck it

Uriah Hall had insane hype during his TUF run and I 100% bought it. The competition wasn't stellar, but he did send all his opponents to the hospital until the finale : broke Andy Enz's arm to get in the house, destroyed Adam Cella with the most brutal KO in TUF history, pulverized Bubba's orbital with the first punch he threw, KOed Dylan Andrews from the freaking bottom... He looked like Anderson blessed with Carwin's power.

He still has a legit career, but he looked like he would at the very least hold the belt at some point.

Poor robbie at that time job was to kill off all of hughes potential killers. Robbie was actually praised more than the current ww champ at the time
