This Conor BS needs to stop

I know damn near every thread is Conor this Conor that cograts Conor you beat a journyman fighter and it only took you two trys.

Knockout p4p LW, all title fights, undefeated 10 yrs..

In 13 s...

Shertards: "lol u got lucky"

While the win was not "lucky" you're saying it as if beating him in 13 seconds made it far from lucky.

I'm not saying it was lucky but if he had pasted Aldo over 5 rounds it would have been less "lucky".

No punch is lucky but to act like that fight proved definitively that McGregor beats Aldo every time is absurd.

male connor groupies

they'd stand in lines blocks long to have him sign their pic of his giving 2 middle fingers on top of the octagon. then when they walk away they'll say something like "I think I just peed a little"

You misunderstood

I didn't say Conor beats Aldo everytime, even though its true.

I was pointing out the 13s knockdown wasn't lucky.

It was set up.

It was surgery.

Clean. Clean. Work.

Let's be at least a tad rational here...at one point Nate Diaz was a top 10 LW, he has some very good wins on his resume, but he's inconsistent. Conor beat Aldo with a timed punch, he knew he had Aldo rattled and waited til Aldo engaged him being over aggressive he got caught. Conor is a very good fighter, he can work on his ground game thats for sure. But some of his fans on here are really making him out to be something he isn't as of yet. Your impatience is allowing you to become irrational and make truly delirious statements.

They act like teenage girls at a boyband concert. It's just wierd

Yes it was clearly intended but rematches can also go different that the first fight, we've seen it countless times over the years in combat sports and witnessed it again when Conor managed to avenge his loss against Nate so you're still coming across as stupid making statements like that.

Conor has a tough road map ahead of him.

Let's say he fights Mayweather.

That's a loss.

Let's say he fights Alvarez...

That's most likely a loss.

Let's say he fights Aldo...

I think he wins the rematch but its a tougher fight.

So his most favorable match up right now is a tougher rematch with Aldo cutting some shitty weight back down to 145 which I don't think he wants to do right away. Personally don't give a shit how much money he makes a fight, I'm gonna get my gif spam ready for option A or B!

Enough with the "Conor can beat....". The guys really hasnt beat anyone relevant besides the one lucky punch vs Aldo. All that proved was that Aldo was an idiot for getting emotional and rushing in.

As good as Nate is, hes not a top fighter. Chad Mendes is garbage. Siver, garbage. etc etc

Guys like Aldo, Edgar, Dos Anjos, Khabib, Cerrone, Alvarez, GSP, Diaz brothers, Cruz, would beat him more then 75% of the time, some probably 100% of the time.

So this fantasy of Conor being this unstoppable force needs to stop before we start hearing that he can beat guys like Silva, Jones, Cain, bla bla bla bla bla.

That fight vs Aldo doesnt prove anything let alone that Conor is a better MMA fighter then Aldo. If they fight again and he beats him then ill say he is better. But who on that list could he beat 5 out of 10 times or greater?

Conor is such a revolutionary fighter. He's started a trend among fans where you have to beat someone twice to prove that you're better. Apparently, he isn't better than Mendes or Aldo. Or Nate (because of the first fight).

When I say a lucky punch, I mean that it doesn't prove anything about Conor being better then Aldo. Aldo got caught. That's it. Aldo, in my opinion is a much better fighter then Conor. If Conor beats him again then I'll admit that I was wrong.

Wouldn't go as far as to call the punch lucky. But until a rematch, I'm not 100% Connor is even the best fighter at 145...let alone the rest of the divisions. I completely agree with the TS in that, Connors resume doesn't really impress me. The fighters that gave him a hard time are you know.....not that great?

Last Saturday must have been a tough night for you.

Annd that my friends is why we can disregard this man's opinion. What a complete tool.
You're an idiot. He never would of had his title shot when he did of he kept his mouth shut. He knows how to manipulate the business and it's worked out to his advantage.

Are you kidding? It was a kick ass main event! Everyone I watched it with was screaming at the tv in excitement.

I like Conor. I just hate you.

:)

Are you trying to tell me if Conor lost every other fight in the UFC or was a boring wrestler,he still would've been where he is at?

<mma3>

TS you are painfully confused - bar the loss to Diaz, he has taken on and beaten every fighter he has had put infront of him, what more do you want him to do?

I for one are excited by the amount of hype and interest he has brought to this sport, it's reaching levels Brock, Chuck and GSP never got anywhere near to.

What I'm saying is that his mouth got him to where he is so fast, not based purely on his skills.
