I think Conor is one of those guys that tends to make big improvements to his game after a loss, each time he has suffered a loss he learns from it and seems to come back looking much better.

I believe a fighter can improve but the way people talk about fighters is that 2.0 is a new version and that they're not the same fighter with the same faults.

Only guy that comes close to that definition for me is Brian ortega. His striking improved tremendously and doesn't look like the same fighter from two years ago. Looked completely diff.

Improvements are a minor version update. If you want to call him "Conor v1.1", that might be appropriate. Frankly, other than a shoulder strike, we didn't see anything new out of Conor in the Cowboy fight.

I don't like Conor one bit but I think there's a good chance he can beat Dustin within the first two rounds. Mainly because of his accuracy. However. I think there is an equal chance that Dustin can survive the onslaught and win on points or catch him in a guillotine.

I personally don't like Conors personality but I've never denounced his striking skill at FW mainly. LW and WW are yet to be seen when he faces legit competition. I have Conor as a slight favorite.

Without an audience and with his aura of invincibility shattered, as well as his ability to get into fighters heads will he have the same level of success as earlier in his career...?

Remember when fighting Conor was a red panty night event, it was huge, you weren’t only fighting Conor, but also the massive build up and the magnitude of the event, that’s all gone...

We will soon find out if Conor is actually skilled enough to win fights without the other factors in the equation, basically relying on physical abilities alone, can he win fighting on a level playing field, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I don't care for McGregor much either, but one thing I do have to credit him with is that he is humble in defeat, at least on the night of. After he lost to Diaz and Mayweather, he didn't make any excuses. He just said the better man won that night. I imagine he'll probably do the same if Dustin beats him. Granted, I think Dustin is at a huge stylistic disadvantage against Conor, so I'm not expecting it to happen.
